2021 Curator Applications!! [CLOSED]

Finally, they are back!

We appreciate you all for being so patient with us, this has been a long time coming and we desperately need some more on the moderation team.

So... come one, come all and apply to be one of SSOA's next curators!

Information about CurApps 2021

First, let's give y'all some information about how things will run this year. CurApps will be done using Google Forms so that they remain anonymous to the public. Do not apply if you have no intention of actually helping the community.

Once you have hit that submit button, it is done, your application has been submitted. You cannot go back to edit your response. There will be no bias in picking candidates, and will be picked solely on the responses and qualifications themselves, not the person behind them. You must meet certain requirements to apply and lying your way through will not end well for you.

Requirements and Rules

- You must be at least 15 years of age to apply. This is the ensure you are mature enough for the role and the team.

- You must have been a member of SSOA for at least 175 days. This is to ensure you know your way around the app and have a good understanding of the Guidelines and how things work here.

- You must be at least level 10 on SSOA. Same reason as the rule above.

- You should have at least 300 minutes per week to apply. This is the ensure you are active on the community and can keep up with duties.

- You must have daily access to amino, so as to regularly engage in mod team discussions whenever and keep up with duties.

- You should not have any strikes. If you do, it should have been at least a year since the last major violation and you have proven that you have changed your ways.

- Do NOT any of the s asking if your application has been submitted. Again, once you've reached the confirmation page of the form (it will say "You response has been recorded"), your application. Has. Been. Submitted. Period.

- Do NOT any asking or complaining about not getting in once applications are done and results posted.

If you do not follow each and every one of these at the time you are applying, you will NOT qualify to be a candidate and your application will be discarded.

Applications will close on January 26, 2021.

That gives you 2 whole weeks to apply, get everything ready, do your studying, get activity and levels up, etc.

Going through applications will be an extensive process for us, and just know that they could take up to 2 weeks to pick through. Please, do not rush us. Ideally, we will be looking to pick up to 5 new curators, but this could be more or less based on how this goes.
