Welcome to the Writer's Guild!

Whether you're a seasoned writer or just starting out, the Writer's Guild aims to help writers refine their skills.

There are small weekly prompts called snapshots as well as larger challenges released less frequently. In addition, there are seminars held twice a month for those interested.

So there are a variety of projects and lessons for those involved!

"Awesome! So how do I ?"

First, you'll want to the Writer's Guild Chat and introduce yourself to the other there! The current snapshot prompt and/or challenge are in the chat description.

Then you'll want to make it Wiki official by pinning the Writers Guild Wiki to your profile. Broadcast your guild hip with pride!

It also makes for a convenient guide to any questions you might have about the guild. This can tell you who the leaders are, what hashtags to use for which prompt, and general info on the guild itself.

"If I'm not a guild member, can I still participate in prompts?"

Of course! Guild member or not, you can post any prompt as a blog to your heart's content.

"How do I set up a blog post?"

You can format it however you like, but to use the hashtag associated with the prompt you've chosen so we can all see your work!

We recommend using the category best suited to your post as well, since the community as a whole will navigate the Amino that way too.

"I want to attend seminars! How does that work?"

They're held twice a month, and anyone in or out the guild can attend! They are held on voice chat in their own chats, and details will be announced when the seminars begin.
