According to Fightful Select, Goldberg’s retirement match in WWE is tentatively planned to take place in Atlanta, Georgia. There have been talks about booking Goldberg for Saturday Night’s Main Event on July 12 in Atlanta, which is the same date that AEW All In Texas will take place.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter says WWE’s plan is to be “very aggressive about dominating Mexico, particularly with the AEW and CMLL alliance and WWE’s purchasing of AAA.”

Fightful notes that WWE has been sending agents to AAA tapings to get “a feel for how things are done.” Jeremy Borash is heavily involved in the process. There is already a power shift going on there, with some top people in AAA having been “knocked down a few pegs.”

WWE’s influence may already be affecting AAA’s creative decisions. One source told Fightful that Albert Del Rio is almost certainly going to lose the AAA Mega Championship before WWE Worlds Collide on June 7.

PW Insider says WWE is expected to run more major events in Las Vegas going forward.

The current odds at BetOnline favor Will Ospreay and Mercedes Mone to win their respective Owen Hart tournament matches at AEW Double or Nothing.

The odds there also indicate that Joe Hendry will retain the TNA world championship against Trick Williams at NXT Battleground.

On Scorpio Sky’s new Creating Character podcast, Sky said he’s been healthy for a long time and doesn’t know why he isn’t on AEW programming. Scorpio’s best guess is that it’s related to an interview he did with Chris Van Vliet last year. Sky tried to go out of his way to “not make the company look bad,” but he thinks someone in AEW “maybe had a few issues with some of the things I did say.”

Regarding the strange issue on May 17 where The Rock’s movie Black Adam aired on TNT instead of the final 30 minutes of AEW Collision, The Observer says it’s believed to have been caused by a “corrupted file.”

The Queen of the Ring X/Twitter  claims that Vince McMahon “personally” pulled Charlotte Flair out of the movie because it was “a small independent film, not a major studio release”. Kamille took on the role Charlotte was to play at the “last minute”.
