MyNXT #14

When MyNXT shut down in 2021 unlike other MyNXT Championships the North American Championship was vacated and hasn’t yet appeared. That changes tonight as we will crown a new champion.

When The Knockouts won the MyNXT Tag Team Champions it caused a series of events leading to Jinny’s career being ended by her former partner Deonna Purrazzo. However we haven’t seen the champs for quite awhile, probably more than 30 days, but we’re retconning that MyNXT doesn’t have the 30 day defence clause. Roxane hasn’t been seen for months after winning the Internet Championship and seemingly being possessed by Alexa Bliss. However it seems she isn’t anymore?

Britt Baker has been at Deonna Purrazzo’s throat since Summerslam each going further into violence at every match, at their last at Dynamite Ten while successfully retaining Britt was injured leading to Deonna being crowned as the interim champion. However at Vengeance she made her return being officially cleared. Tonight she has her first match back against the dominating presence of Tamina.

When The Forgotten Daughters debuted they made it clear their goal was to bring back MyNXT and destroy MyNXTUK. At Vengeance this was nearly achieved as she nearly unified the two women’s titles, however due to the stipulation both Blair and Toni Storm retained their respective belts. Tonight the team announces their next plot to destroy the brand they’re technically on.

Blair Davenport grabbed a mic as Mia Yim and Shayna Baszler stood behind her in the ring.

Blair:”Before I talk about Vengeance I should really quickly tell you, Britt Baker has nothing to worry about we want you in perfect condition for when Mia kicks your ass and takes your title. Alright now Vengeance. Like I expected I kicked Toni’s ass so hard she had to go to hospital. And even though I won the match, for some reason I’m not the MyNXT and MyNXTUK Champion? I mean you all saw it, when I set Toni up and you all stupidly hit her silly over-complicated move, where I instead beat her with an actually devastating move. I think that really illustrates the difference between my brand and this new imposter, who I will destroy, we were hard hitting, raw, technique first style later, whereas NXT Poo-K cares more about look and gimmicks. That ends, Toni I know you’re not hear tonight and won’t be for a few weeks, but I do know when you will be and that’ll be where it ends in a simple one on one unification match. Toni count your days because at MyNXT Takeover Stand & Deliver I will become the Undisputed MyNXT Champion!”

The pair locked up but Tamina immediately did a belly to back facebuster. As Britt got up Tamina hit a superkick sending her into the corner where Tamina ran in with a Stinger Splash before pulling Britt up into a Canadian back breaker, no Britt slipped behind bouncing off the ropes hitting a sling blade. As Tamina got up Britt hit a superkick, no Tamina caught throwing down her leg before lifting her up for Nobody Meaner (cradle into swinging urange) no Britt landed on her feet where Tamina hit a suplex no Britt would knee her landing on the middle rope but was caught in a superkick to her legs, Brittle would fall onto Tamina’s shoulders getting hit with a Samoan Drop. Tamina then climbed to the top turnbuckle hitting a super fly splash, no Britt rolled out of the way. As Tamina started getting up she was hit with a Curb Stomp

{Backstage}

Bryan Danielson was backstage with the MyNXTUK Championship on his shoulder as Gunther walked in, the MyNXT Championship around his waist.

Bryan:”Gunther, I saw Blair out there earlier, and it had me thinking, I also want to be a MyNXT undisputed champion.”

Gunther:”Unification match at Stand & Deliver”

Bryan:”Exactly what I had in mind”

The pair shook hands as Adam Cole walked up

Adam:”Since I’m #1 contender for your belt Daniel I think I better , don’t you? I’ll see you two at Stand & Deliver Bay-Bay”

Adam walked off

The pair locked up, Gigi doing a side headlock, Roxanne soon backed her into the ropes before whipping to the opposite set, when she bounced back Roxanne did a drop down, as she got up Gigi rebounded off the ropes hitting a front dropkick. As Roxanne started getting up using the ropes Jacy Jayne grabbed her leg. Gigi then ran up to a distracted Roxanne hitting a Gigi Driver

When they came back Roxanne was gone, as Gigi and Jacy looked around blood from the ceiling was poured on them

The pair shook hands before locking up, Johnny did a side headlock, no Ricochet rolled backwards out of it before running at Johnny ducking a closeline, he’d then rebound off the ropes doing a leap frog. Ricochet would then gloat to the crowd when Johnny hit a superkick

As the pair got up Johnny hit a gut kick before lifting Ricochet into a powerbomb no Ricochet reversed into a Canadian Destroyer, no Johnny blocked, but Ricochet went through flipping over Johnny landing on his feet where Johnny hit a German suplex, no Ricochet blocked, Johnny did an O’Connor roll

Ricochet rolled through deadlifting Johnny into a bank suplex, no Johnny did a standing body switch, Ricochet hit a back elbow hitting Sliced Bread out of the corner no, Johnny held onto the ropes, but Ricochet landed on his feet hitting a poison rana

Kick out. Ricochet then climbed to the top turnbuckle hitting a Shooting Star Press, no Johnny rolled out of the way locking in a Gargano Escape. Ricochet soon got to his knees before hitting a modified deadlift blue thunder bomb

Kick out. Ricochet started arguing with the ref as Johnny rolled to the apron. Ricochet then turned into a slingshot spear. Johnny went to the corner calling Ricochet to his knees hitting The Gargano Superkick (running basement Superkick) no Ricochet dodged throwing him through the ropes, Ricochet then ran at him getting caught in another slingshot spear, no Ricochet reversed into a pedigree. As Johnny got up Ricochet ran at him hitting The Recoil

Kick out. As ricochet was shocked Johnny rolled to the floor. As Johnny started getting up Ricochet ran up to the top turnbuckle hitting a shooting star crossbody plancha, both were down.

Ricochet threw Johnny into the ring before climbing to the top turnbuckle. But Johnny met him there hitting a superplex, no Ricochet blocked he’d soon turn away from Johnny hitting a reverse Spanish Fly. Ricochet then climbed to the top turnbuckle but Johnny got back up meeting him there, the pair exchanged punches until Ricochet hit a super Canadian Destroyer no Johnny landed on his feet hitting a sliding knee as Ricochet sat up. As Ricochet got up Johnny got on the apron hitting The Final Beat
