Weapon Guide | Mini Splatling

Hey My Squidlings

Today, I'm doing another Weapon Guide and today I'll be doing the Mini Splatling! Thank you so much for all the last blog I really appreciate it! Again, I will be doing the Mini Splatling going over about everything about it and in every mode! Again tell me in the comments what weapon you would like to see next and it may be used! This time I picked the Mini Splatling from a comment from #Mina a Curator here on Splatoon Amino! Anyways let's go into this!

Overview

Overall the Mini Splatling is a very decent weapon and can be deadly once you master it. There are three versions of the Mini Splatling which all of them are pretty good. Last time I only talked about the original Splattershot because this was my first post here in a while and I wanted to get used to this Amino and see the feed back first and stuff.. anyways back to what I was saying. The Mini Splatling has three variants, the Mini Splatling, Zink Mini Splatling and the Refurbished Mini Splatling. These are all great weapons and in my opinion the Zink is the best. Anyways, first the original.. the original Mini Splatling has the Suction Bombs and Inkzooka. Honestly if you want to use this set I suggest using the Tentatek. The Tentatek uses this set very well and is overall a better choice, but if you want to go to something different in play style then I would pick this. It can use the suction bombs to kill/cut off opponents and use the Inkzooka to get to places/kill people who you can't reach, with your normal range. Next, the Zink Mini Splatling, which in my opinion and in a lot of other people's opinions is the best Mini Splatling. It has the Disrupter and Bubbler as its Sub and Special making it already sound like it gonna be a great offensive AND defensive weapon. You can use the disrupter to slow down opponents and if you can't kill em' still then pop out your bubbler and go all out of the opposing team. Honestly I used to main this weapon (now I don't have a main, I just use a weapon that would be good for the mode/stage) and it was really good! Last, but not least, is the Refurbished Mini Splatling a Sheldon's Pick weapon. This one I would say is better than the original but a good amount of people would disagree. This weapon comes with the burst bombs and the burst bomb rush which is a pretty set for the Mini Splatling. With the low range and low damage from other Splatling guns this can really help. Being able to throw a burst bomb then not even a full charge from the Mini Splatling will still take out an enemy Inkling. Overall a great main weapon class!

Turf Wars

Okay so I honestly don't recommend using this weapon on turf wars. It's mostly succeeds on ranked modes so yeah.. but if you want to use this weapon on Turf Wars then I recommend the Refurbished version. "Why?" You ask, well with that bomb rush you can get some serious turf, and even kill a few people in the process. Okay.. I said this weapon is not that good at Turf Wars. What I mean is that it mostly does BETTER on ranked modes not that it's horrible on Turf Wars because it can cover some serious turf. Again, not much to say about this guy on turf wars so onto Splat Zones!

Splat Zones

Okay, Splat Zones is great for this weapon, and lemme tell you why. So Splat Zones is mostly covering turf and the Mini Splatling is great with that, but it can only cover turf for a limited time seeing as you have to charge it. So I would go with the Zink or the Refurbished. This Zink can slow down opponents making it hard for them to cover the Splat Zone and then use your bubbler to go to the Splat Zone and cover as much as you can. Now, the Refurbished can do this a bit better, seeing as it has a bomb rush and whenever a weapon has that they're going to be good for turf war/splat zones. Anyways the refurbished is very, very, very good in Splat Zones, Camp triggerfish, and here's why... the refurbished has burst bombs and the splat zones are on two sides of the map. Soooooooooo.. you can use those burst bombs to cover the enemies side while still getting your side. Overall very good at Splat Zones.

Rainmaker

Alright, so Rainmaker I've never used a Mini Splatling, so I can't really say much about it. Most of what I say are personal experiences and how I play with the weapon on that mode. So, I'm gonna go off of other stuff and see what I can do. Again, let's give some attention to the refurbished Mini Splatling for being a pretty underused but good weapon. With this variant of the Mini Splatling you can kill the person with the rainmaker on the opposing side very easily and use the burst bomb rush to pressure the opponents when you or your team has the Rainmaker. Yep, that's it..

Tower Control

And, finally is Tower Control and finally we are gonna talk about the original Mini Splatling (YASSS). Okay so the original has suction bombs making it great for throwing one on the tower and pressuring opponents with Inkzooka. This is the mode where it really shines. So if you're sick of Turf War and want to play ranked with the original then I suggest using the Mini Splatling original.. again a very short section but there's not much to say. YOU RIDE A TOWER, and that's it. XD
