sheldon stopped making weapons so the inklings and octolings took it opon themself's
to make new ones

Inkopolis Plaza lost all of its wow and amazment until it dried up to become a desolate wasteland

new species
started moving in to the area before you know it
the befriended the inklings and octolings
but yeah this K.K
told me that
the area shown isnt apart of the actual plaza
so i was incorect

If you read the Twitter/Tumblr you'd know that the area shown isnt even apart of inkopolis. And its in a place called the Splatlands where a chaotic city thrives as they battle in more chaotic form in the natural environment-
