This is Nomad! I hope you all are having a terrific day! This is it, the last announcement blog that I'll ever be doing for this saga. This is the story that it's all been leading to, ladies and gentlemen, this is the announcement blog for Splat Force V: Final Frontier!

Here is a fun fact that you lot most likely didn't know: this exact story has been in my head since as early as 2019. Back then, I was still creating the characters as small wacky OCs to use in RP plots. It is also back then that I was ing an old, rather shitty SF story simply titled "Splat Force". I have since then taken down everything relating to that shit attempt of a series as I started again in 2020 with Splat Force: The Gifted, and everything from there on was in this universe.

Anyway, it was after seeing Avengers: Endgame for the first time when it came out that really lit the spark in me, that spark being making my own stories with my own characters... for some reason not in my own world but rather based off of Splatoon for some reason, but I digress. It was that year that I pictured all of the big fights in these stories, the conflicts, the drama, the deaths, all of it. It was then when starting the series that it went from whether or not I'd make more to whether or not I continue all the way through, which judging by the fact you're reading this right now, it's safe to say that the latter has happened, and thank god for that!

And here I am now, I have reached my conclusion, my Endgame. I know that this app is nowhere near as popular is it was back when I first started this series (I mean, compare the likes between the first SF:TG Chapter and my latest works and it's night and day lmao), but I'm somewhat glad I got to stick around for this saga, even if that meant suffering through Amino's bullshit.

Anyway, enough of me rambling, this blog will be going over the basics of this story, don't worry, there won't be spoilers because why tf would I even do that? Anyway, I'll be basically going over the plot summary as well as giving a brief rundown about this story's main cast of characters as well as giving you lot some extra little details that I'm happy with sharing, so basically the usual stuff by now.

So without further ado, let's get into this!

S P L A T F O R C E V : F I N A L F R O N T I E R

S U M M A R Y :

Picking up after the cliffhanger ending of Splat Force IV: Radicalism, the world is in panic mode after the skies turn purple, signalling a long spoken prophecy. During the chaos, the Splat Force are confronted by The Beholder, who warns them of the prophesied attack of Malefor, an all powerful entity who, if left unchecked could bring about the end of everything was they know it. To stand a chance against the coming threat, the Splat Force must try and bring peace to not just their world, but all of them, by venturing through the infinite multiverse in search of Allies. Along the way, some familiar faces will be met, though they're not exactly how they're ed. Will their efforts be enough? Or will Malefor bring about the end? Find out in the emotional, action-packed grand finale for all the ages!

C H A R A C T E R S :

•Rex Allen•

Out of all of the main cast, Rex Allen probably has the most history with this team. Being both one of the founders and one of the Commanders of the Splat Force, Rex Allen has seen more conflict in his life then he should have. Whether it be fighting against Terrador during the Gifted Wars, fighting back against the reign of Bolton Vulcan, or coming back to the fight against Cyrus Zagan and Project ZM, this man has hardly had any time for the quiet and simple life, and even when he did, it would be cut off for him to come back to the fight. Rex is the only surviving veteran of the Gifted Wars, with everyone else having been killed along the way, including both his best friend and brother in arms Commander Frederick Evans, and his wife Commander Alyssa Frida. At this point in the timeline, he has just come out of retirement to help take down Cyrus Zagan and put an end to the Fisk Industries case for good, something in which he and the Splat Force were successful in. But now, an even bigger threat is coming, one bigger than anything he has faced. In this story, Rex Allen plays one of the biggest roles in the saga, however, whether or not he goes through with it depends on if he can answer the call to justice.

•Platinum Frida•

Being the daughter of Rex Allen and Alyssa Frida, young Platinum Frida was always meant to be part of this life, despite how hard both parents tried to prevent that. She spent the first fifteen years of her life as a normal Inktoling kid, however, she was caught in the crossfire during Bolton's reign, and she was kidnapped and held hostage to lead the team out of hiding. Of course, a battle broke out between Bolton and the Splat Force, and it was during the fight that her gifts were activated for the first time, possessing the same energy gifts as her mother. However, it wasn't meant to last as the following day, her mother gave her life to cure the world from the gifted, including her. Years down the line, she ed the Splat Force to help people like her parents did. She proved herself to be capable and strong, especially during the conflict with Cyrus Zagan. In this story, she must answer the call to justice and help save not just her world but all of them, and make both of her parents proud along the way.

•Samantha Stewart•

Samantha Stewart went through a very rough patch in her life after the death of her little sister, Ami Stewart. Her one goal in life was to protect her and make sure she had a good, long life, which she had failed to do as it was Ami herself that ended up making the sacrifice play by saving Samantha from one of Harlow Pertch's attacks that Bolton Vulcan has reflected towards her. Following that, she let herself go, allowing her to go to waste eating and drinking her sorrows away and letting out her rage and a fighting ring inside of a bar. It wasn't until the Splat Force found her and recruited her back for the conflict against Cyrus Zagan that she self-reflected on everything in her life, and with the recent discovery of her mother still being alive, Samantha now has someone that not only she wants to start a relationship with anew, but someone that can be lost. That is what is going to be driving her in this story as she does not want what happened to Ami happening to the one family she has left.

•Shauna May-Deacon•

Shauna May-Deacon wasn't always the capable Splat Force fighter and partner to Emily Rogue. At the start of her journey, she was an innocent young girl, forced into a hard life due to her gifts of light manipulation, which led to her and her family getting kidnapped into the Deep Sea Metreo, where she watched her parents die and was forced to get sanitised. She was stuck down there for years until she received help from heroes during Bolton's reign of terror. Once free, she was immediately sent to Stonefish Heights on suspicion of the murder of her parents. A few months after Bolton's reign ended, she was brought into a team of formerly gifted individuals to prevent a war from going on within another country. One of the leaders of the mission was Vincent Fisk, who took her in after the mission ended to try and find a cure to her sanitised skin. It half worked, leaving her back in her old skin and hair colours, but with patches of the sanitised skin and hair remaining. Fisk then imprisoned her as he began to enact his grand plan. She was his prisoner until she managed to break free with the help of fellow prisoners. She sought the help of Emily Rogue, who took her in and looked after her as they, alongside Magnus Lang and the R.A.I.C, went off to defeat Fisk, putting an end to his plan. During all of this, both her and Emily fell in love, leading to them moving in together, which also led to her ing the Splat Force officially, where she would one day go on to take down Cyrus Zagan's schemes. She was injured badly by Project ZM, who stabbed her, leaving her unable to fight. In this story, Shauna will be returning to the fight with a few surprises coming her way. As she learns about what is at stake, Shauna has to prepare herself for if she has to answer the call to justice.

•Magnus Lang•

Magnus Land has had a drastic change throughout the saga. First starting out as both a friend-turned-lover for Drift Evans, aka Credence Vulcan, Magnus slowly managed to grow into his own character following his boyfriends death. It didn't come without challenge, however, he was out of his depth during Bolton's reign, even managing to get a large scar on his right cheek thanks to Bolton's blade, an incident that stuck with him even until now. Since then, he has trained more and more and has gained more skills in both combat and weaponry and now serves as one of the Commanders of the Splat Force, leading the charge during the Cyrus Zagan conflict not too long ago. In this story, Magnus Lang's leadership skills have to grow for what's ahead for both him and the team, but it all depends on whether or not he answers the call to justice.

•Emily Rogue•

If there is any word that can describe Emily Rogue's journey throughout the saga, it would be: matured. When we first met Emily, she was bratty, rebellious, and overall difficult to work with, although that was mainly the after effect of the death of her father, Oscar Rogue. She used to bully and belittle follow member Magnus Lang, but it wasn't until the end of Bolton's reign that she really saw Magnus as for who he was, especially after his injuries from Bolton Vulcan. At the end of it, the two became friends, something that Emily didn't have much of. In the years since then, she got herself in a bit of heat with Vincent Fisk, who was plotting to take out the cured to prevent the potential return of the gifted. It was during the conflict that she met Shauna May-Deacon, who, despite a rocky, neglectful start, would go on to become her loving partner after Fisk was taken down and arrested. During her last adventure, she went up against Cyrus Zagan and Project ZM, the cured-killing assassin who was revealed to be her long thought to be dead Cousin, Zane Miller. During this conflict, Shauna got almost fately injured, driving Emily to be the one who killed Cyrus Zagan, and even that'll stick with her. A couple of days later, she almost died bringing her cousin back to the light. With a stabbed open stomach and a destroyed liver, she barely managed to survive thanks to Vincent Fisk donating his liver to her in a last-minute effort to save her life. Although she was saved, the physical and mental pain still lasted. In this story, Emily will struggle badly due to her injuries limiting what she could do, despite that, she has a very important role to play in all of this. Again, it all depends on whether or not she answers the call to justice.

•Zane Miller/Project ZM•

Zane Miller has been on quite the ride within this saga. At the start, Zane was a young teenage boy who was presumed dead for over thirteen years, when in actuality he was held prisoner by Bolton Vulcan, and in wake of his death, was left isolated and alone in a dark room with no food or drink, which forced Zane to eat his entire left arm. Eventually, he was found by Vincent Fisk and immediately got the care he needed, alongside a new metal arm. However, Fisk had ambitious plans for Zane, tasking Cyrus Zagan to break his spirits enough so that he would fall under his command, and so he did. Using the Book Of The Damned, Fisk took over Zane's mind, turning him into the ruthless killing machine known as Project ZM, who operated under Fisk's demand until his defeat and arrest, only for Cyrus Zagan to take command, eventually leading to his clash with the Splat Force, after a long few weeks of conflict, Zane was finally brought back after being pulled into the light by his cousin, Emily Rogue. In this story, we will see the real Zane Miller navigate a world he had lost years ago, as he tries to make sense of his life once again.

•Vincent Fisk•

Vincent Fisk, once the prouder founder and owner of Fisk Industries, has been referred to by many as the smartest man alive. Although he has seen a more heroic side as of recently after saving Emily Rogue from near death, Vincent Fisk was once a villian, well, moreso a man who went down the wrong path whilst trying to do good. He wanted to save the world by preventing another threat like Terrador or Bolton Vulcan, although his methods of attempting to wipe out the cured to prevent them from possibly getting their gifts back was... a choice. Thankfully, he was taken down by the Splat Force years prior and has since then been down the road of redemption. In this story, Vincent Fisk will be much further down the road, maybe even close to redemption. It all depends on whether or not he plays his part in all of this and answers the call.

•The Beholder•

The sole protector of the multiverse, The Beholder has been the observer of every reality in the multiverse, big or small, long or short lived. He swore an oath to protect the multiverse under any means necessary, even if it meant calling for help on mere mortals. During his smaller parts of the saga, The Beholder has been a guide throughout the multiverse, showcasing various new and different realities, all whilst warning us of the inevitable arrival of Malefor, now, he has to take action and the story, rather then observe from afar. In this story, you will all see a different side to this mysterious figure as details of his past will soon be revealed.

•Malefor•

First teased during the finale of Cosmo: A Splat Force Story, Malefor is not a being from any reality, infact, it's generous to call him a being, or even him a him... Malefor is an entity, and entity prophesied to bring about the end of everything. Malefor was fought once billions of years ago, though lost the battle against the protectors of the multiverse and imprisoned, though Malefor's imprisonment was only going to last so long. Now free and letting loose on the multiverse, Malefor will stop at nothing until all realities are destroyed in order to fulfill the propachy that had been long bestowed upon the entity.

E X T R A D E T A I L S :

• The only stories that you'd need to have read to understand this story is the main four stories (Splat Force: The Gifted, Splat Force II: Allegiance, Splat Force III: Bolton's Reign, and Splat Force IV: Radicalism).

• This story takes place immediately where SFIV:R left off.

• Tone wise, this story is going to be much more uplifting then the previous entries, although there will still be much time of dread and sorrow.

• There may be more unannounced characters featuring in this series, you'll get to see them soon enough. Expect some surprises.

• Like all four of the previous main stories, this story will last 20 Chapters.

• Although the entire main cast are all essential to both the plot and the spirit of this story, the two characters that I consider to be the heart of this story are both Rex and Platinum.

• Much like the previous main stories, there will be an intermission break after Chapter 10. Unlike the previous stories, there will be another intermission break after Chapter 15.

• Chapters 1 + 2 will drop on March 2nd.
