G'day amino, today me and my amazing friend Kairos decided we wanted to the DDC event :flushed: , honestly I dont write often and my motivation is dying but this was fun to make

Idk if this is a bit late but I just got back from school lmao

No help bc everyone else has nice story's and ours is a murder plot :skull: :skull:

“Yeah okay. I’ll see you guys later, try not to destroy the house..” Raisa sighed and locked the door behind her. Leaving Lolly and Mari home alone would surely end in disaster, yet having them come with her would be even worse. It was only some simple grocery shopping, yes. But knowing those two they would drag her into shops and they’d come back spending twice as much as she needed.

Oh well, they wouldn't burn the house down, hopefully.

“Hmm I wonder if that drink is still on sale”

Meanwhile, at the house, the two were planning a nice round of hide and seek. "You count first!" Lolly quickly ran off to find somewhere to hide while Mari began counting down from 20.

Lolly got comfy in a small cupboard in the kitchen giggling to herself, shutting the door as quietly as she could and then trying to keep in her giggles as Mari finished counting.

She listened carefully as Mari moved objects around in the next room, looking for her.

Suddenly Lolly felt lightheaded and there were butterflies in her stomach. She felt dizzy, panicking she might throw up, then the feeling just stopped. She slowly crawled out the cupboard and stood in the kitchen woozily.  

But it wasn’t her moving her body, it was something else, and she had not a clue what. She tried to yell and go to Mari, but nothing happened, something else was using body, and it didn’t seem to have good intentions.

Raisa returned an hour or so later, she shuffled the key into the lock until the door swung open. The house was in good condition, how strange, and it was quiet too. Maybe they fell asleep together watching cartoons? She entered the kitchen and put down the shopping bags, unpacking a few before the silence hurt her ears and she went to find the two.

She assumed they were in the living room, the door was shut, and she couldn’t hear the TV on, hmm..

She didn’t panic and guessed they must be in the bedroom or outside then, but they couldn’t be found there either “Maybe they fell asleep in the front room without the TV” she guessed, approaching the door and slowly pushing it open.

Raisa gasped, there lay Mari in the middle of the floor, her body seemed lifeless. Raisa calmed herself, she could still be alive, you couldn’t really tell from this angle anyway. She bent down over Mari and gave her a hard prod before turning her over, Raisa almost fainted.

Mari was very dead, but before she could even take in what she saw, she spotted movement in the corner of her eye. She turned around swiftly, the short octoling was stood in the corner of the room facing away from her, blade in hand. “Lolly..?”

Lolly turned her head to look at Raisa, glaring at her, a smug grin on her face. Raida’s eyes widened

”You’re not Lolly”
