Hey all! Luke here

Figured I would update you all on my current plans, as it’s currently the longest break I’ve had in posting in a long while.

It’s no secret that Amino isn’t as active as when I first started posting in mid 2019. I don’t post on many other places except for AO3 (and occasionally Twitter). And seeing the lack of activity is slowly whittling down my interest here (also cause Amino doesn’t trust my wifi and I have to use data on here for some reason?)

But I want to be clear, I have no plans to stop posting stories here

So, writing plans. Bayside and Agent Zero are still being worked on. The next Bayside chapter is just about done and will likely be ed this weekend. Hopefully Bayside will be done by the end of the year, and Agent Zero by early next year. Splatoon: Champions will likely start in late fall/early winter.

As for Gmod, well I’ve kinda done everything I want to do in that. I don’t have any more ideas I really wanna do, and it doesn’t help that with the Nintendo Gmod Purge, anything new coming to Gmod will be pretty scarce.

TLDR, Gmod posts will slow down, but writing will continue as planned.

Just felt the need to make this since I’ve been quiet for a while. You can also read my stories on AO3 if you prefer to read it there! (LukethePhoenix is my name there)

See you all this weekend for the next Bayside Chapter!

Me seeing this post only now underlines your statement about Amino's inactivity. Feeling quite the same way as well, my own posting has dwindled a lot too. But you are a big reason to keep my own writing going. So keep doing you mate! 🤜🤛

If you want some advice from one writer to another, I would suggest not overloading yourself. I think it would be best to get at least one of those done before tackling your big one (Champions), that way there would much less pressure on you and you won't be neglecting a story in favour of another.

A way to see it in my would be if I did both Emmie and What If...? at the same time whilst also starting SFIV, I would be more inclined to do the latter one rather then the other two.

Of course, it all boils down to you, man. I'd hate to intrude in any plans, but I just wanted to give you this advice because with your current state and everything going on, that last thing that I'd want is for you to just get overwhelmed and that.

Anyway, enough of my rambling, good luck, my friend! Can't wait to see what you're cooking! ^^

Yeah I’ve definitely overloaded myself here, especially with all the original universe stuff I’m doing. Definitely gonna not do 2 stories at a time again after this

Heh. I've always had a little rule I give to myself, that being to only do one story at a time, a rule which helped a lot over the past few years of Splat Force. I think if you start the big one after the Bayside and Agent Zero, then you'll be able to put more work and ion into it without juggling the others, that's just me, tho!

If you ever need writing advice, I'm happy to lend a hand in the best ways I can, especially since I'll be free more after this weekend when the finale is done!

(p.s. we should definitely have a little VC about writing sometime. I feel like that would be pretty fun)
