Hey everyone, CDS here. It's been a while since I did one of these, but I gladly continue this mini-series in which I give quirks to oc's of someone else if those characters were to exist in the world of Inkopolis Academia, my personal crossover world of Splatoon and My Hero Academia. In this blog, I'll cover oc's of Elsa. She has really nice oc's and makes great gmods, drawings and small stories with them, so be sure to give her profile a visit if you haven't already. It's also her birthday today, so this blog functions as a little gift as a result. I hope you enjoy Elsa, happy birthday!
Edit: Tysm for the feature!
Chapter hub to Inkopolis Academia. It contains the links to the previous blogs of this mini-series as well.

Before I start, I should clear out some stuff:
First point, what are quirks? Probably a question you ask if you're completely unfamiliar with the manga/anime of My Hero Academia. Basically, in the world of mha, about 80% of humanity has a unique power known as a quirk. Some are extremely powerful and versatile, some can be weird and funny. While some quirks may be similar, there are always differences to be found, like I said, it's a unique power. That's why they are called quirks.
Second point, which oc's will cover? Like the previous blogs, I'll be covering three oc's: Olivia.
I'll first talk about what their quirk (what it can do, strengths and weaknesses) would be before explaining the reasons I went with said quirk.
(Spoiler alert: if you plan on watching/reading mha completely spoiler-free, turn away now!)
Long intro, but I found that it was needed again. Thanks for reading, I hope you enjoy.
Toothpick (Elsa) - Quirk: Gold
This transformation type quirk allows her to turn her body into gold and she can fuse any exterior gold to her body in order to grow bigger and stronger. She can shoot said absorbed gold as projectiles or use it to regenarate injuries she sustained, and also reshape her body into different forms similar to certain symbiotes from Marvel, a power nodding towards gold's malleable nature but also the morphing abilities of inklings and octolings as well when you think about it. In her golden form, Toothpick is immune to water (can't swim but also doesn't require air when submerged), toxins, most acids, a considerable amount of heat and electricity.

The main weakness is that this quirk sacrifices the ability to squidform (and therefore speed) in exchange for all this power and durability, making her a more slow but resilient force. While being durable, she also isn't impervious to pain and can be damaged with enough force. To increase her powers, she requires the gold from outside sources (which given the rare and expensive nature of said metal, isn't always that easy). So in conclusion, this quirk is strong and balanced, but it can be matched and even outclassed by the more overpowered quirks.
Reasons for this quirk choice
The reference quirk for this concept is Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu's Steel. To set this idea apart from that quirk, I decided to change up the element to gold, which is a nod to Toothpick being rich and her love for money. The increased physical strength she gets from this quirk also fits her weapon choice, the Kensa Dynamo Roller. I just always picture oc's who use a Dynamo as buffed, so this is more of a personal reference but I find it a funny one, making me mention it anyways.

Klara - Quirk: Intoxicating
With this emitter type quirk, Klara can replicate any toxin she consumed/touched/inhaled in either a liquid (viscosity can be chosen), gas or even solid form. The requirement to make a certain toxin this way, is that Klara requires to know the specific function of the toxin (on which cells and what processes it acts etc). She can dilute toxins if she wishes, changing up the dosage.
Klara of course has an immunity against toxins thanks to this quirk. It should also be noted that despite the name, Klara has a wide range of molecules she can produce with this quirk, since medicines and antidotes can also be produced by Klara. This underlines the famous principle of 'The dose makes the poison'. However, Klara states it's more difficult to replicate molecules which are designed to work as medicines as opposed to actual toxins.

Though a powerful quirk, certain sea creatures can an have immunity against it depending on their own quirk, leaving Klara helpless. Possible counter quirks would be other poison-related quirks granting immunity, or transformation quirks which morph the into an inorganic form like Elsa's aforementioned Gold.
Reason for this quirk choice:
I view the concept of poison related quirks as overall popular within the mha fandom. Given how Klara likes to be famous with all of her social media and has the Pokémon typing poison as her favourite (she's an inkling of culture as well I see), I decided to give her this quirk concept. Not the most profound reason, but I enjoyed coming up with it nevertheless.
Olivia - Quirk: Werewolf
Thanks to this transformation type quirk, Olivia can transform into a humanoid wolf form at will. In this form, she has augmented physical prowess, augmented senses, sharp claws plus teeth and the ability to perform a sonic howl as a distant attack. This last ability is taken from Ben 10's werewolf alien Blitzwolfer.

Olivia can choose to transform into her werewolf form at any time, but it's used best during nighttime with a bright sky. This is because she gains a power boost scaling with how much moonlight shines onto her, meaning that this quirk's power is at its peak when used during a full moon shining down onto Olivia.
Though really versatile and powerful, Olivia can suffer from the bestial insticts taking over while she is in her werewolf form. This can be exploited by her enemies but also might lead to Olivia going berserk, which would end up in her doing things she might regret (think of this like Shigeo in the anime Mob Psycho 100 when he goes ???%). In addition, the werewolf form's augmented senses are both a strength and a weakness (for example: blinding her vision with a strong light flash, stunning her with high pitched soundwaves, ...).
Reason for this quirk choice:
In Olivia's bio, she's mentioned to be part werewolf. I've had a werewolf based quirk like the one mentioned above on my mind for a very long time, so I took this opportunity to give it to this lovely oc. Plus I've been getting back into my love for Ben 10 lately, leading to the addition of the sonic howl which I personally really like.
Epilogue:
And there you have it, three oc's of Elsa each with the quirk I'd give them in the world of Inkopolis Academia. I absolutely loved doing this again and really enjoy the quirk ideas I've integrated for this blog. So even though it functions as a gift, I need to give my thanks to Elsa as well.
Have a nice day!
