Cosmo: A Splat Force Story; Deleted Scenes

This is Nomad! Today, ya'll get to witness the deleted scenes from Cosmo: A Splat Force Story!

Like Splat Force: The Gifted, these scenes are still canon to the story but I cut them because either I how I wanted to progress the story or because I ran out of space, mainly the last one.

I'll be giving the title of the scene, the chapter it would've been apart of and a small explanation as to why I cut it.

So without further ado, on with the show!

S C E N E 1 : J A M I E ' S C A L L

Chapter 6: The Second Village

(Right off the bat, we have a scene that takes place after the Splat Force had saved Bohan Village from the sharks and after they've celebrated with a karaoke. After Jamie left there was a scene with him on the phone with his wife. I decided to cut the scene because I wanted the main focus of the scene to still be on both Alyssa and Rex. Enough of me rambling, here ya go!)

Jamie walked over to his tent and stood outside of it, not going in just yet. He went into his pocket and pulled out his phone. He switched it on called his wife.

"Hello?"

She greeted.

"Hey Carol, it's me!"

He greeted whilst smiling. It had been a long time since he's last spoken to her.

"Oh my cod, Jamie! How've you been honey?"

Caroline asked, sounding really excited.

"I'm not too bad actually."

He answered before going on to explain everything that went down.

"We saved a village from a group of sharks, who were all terrorising the village by taking their resources. Not too long ago, we ended up having a little karaoke, we all sang the Splat Force anthem, it's safe to say that I've been doing good today. How's the kids?"

"Well Samantha has been drawing a lot, she made a really beautiful drawing of you. She really misses you."

Caroline answered, which brought a small tear to Jamie's eye.

"Oh..."

He whispered softly.

"Tell young Samantha that Daddy will be home soon, okay?"

"I-I will do!"

She assured him, also tearing up from the other side.

"How's baby Ami been?"

Jamie asked, hoping to hear some good news about his youngest child.

"It's been hard raising a newborn by myself..."

She sighed, which only broke Jamie even more.

"But she is doing fine, she's learnt how to crawl, she's even trying to walk now, haha!"

"Has she said her first word yet?"

He asked, wondering if he's missed the first word as well.

"She has, you'll never believe what the first word was."

Caroline said before telling him the word.

"Dada!"

This only brought more tears to Jamie's eyes.

"I-I was her first word...Wow."

He muttered, wiping a few tears from his face.

"I-I have to get to sleep now, I'll be early. I love you Caroline, tell the kids I said so too."

"I will...I love you too!"

She whispered back.

"I promise that I'll come home!"

He assured her before hanging up the call. He slowly inhaled and then exhaled, taking in the call before going into his tent, resting for the night.

S C E N E 2 : S W A M P V I L L A G E R S

Chapter 7: The Third Village

(This short scene takes place after Frederick opening up to Bobby and before Henry's talk with Donald. This was an interaction between Oscar and Daniel Cope, who was the radio broadcaster for Baxter Village. I mainly cut this scene because it didn't really do much for this chapter, when compared to the Frederick's scene and Henry's scene, which we both written to develop their characters. Anyway, here it is folks!)

The three Majors all walked around the village. They were quick to realise that they all relied on plants and they all had very limited resources. Oscar walked over to one of the farmers.

"Hey, would you like some help with that?"

He asked, wanting to get their trust.

"Oh don't worry about it, I got this!"

The villager assured, pulling out the carrot from the ground.

"The names Daniel Cope. I used to be a radio broadcaster for Baxter Village before ya'll blew up the place."

"I am deeply sorry about that."

Oscar sighed.

"It's fine I guess, Terrador forced me into it. I didn't like it at first but I ended up getting used to it."

He explained, telling Oscar more about Terrador's manipulative ways.

"I see..."

Oscar whispered. He knew that Terrador was a threat to both the Splat Force and Inkopolis but he didn't think that he'd be a threat to his own people.

"So in a way, I'm a little glad you attacked since, well I'm not under his influence anymore."

Daniel said, indirectly thanking him.

"Oh r-really? I was not expecting to hear that..."

Oscar exclaimed, sounding more confused if anything.

"Yeah, I guess so."

Daniel said before his attention drew back to his plants.

"I guess I'll see you around...whatever your name is."

"Oscar, Oscar Rogue."

He said to him.

"Right, Oscar. I'll see you around!"

He said once more before going back to his plants.

S C E N E 3 : L A S T M I N U T E T R A I N I N G

Chapter 10: The Showdown

(For our second to last deleted scene, we have a scene from the v e r y l o n g finale. This scene was cut for two reasons. The first reason was that by the time I got near the end of the chapter, I had ran out of space and needed to cut some stuff. The second reason is that it was a scene that I thought slowed down the pace of the chapter a little bit. You could say that about Alyssa's dream sequences but at least with those I was exploring something. Anyway, this scene is about Rex and Frederick training Alyssa on aim and senses. Here it is folks!)

After half a minute, the elevator opened up to the shed. She walked out of the shed and started walking towards the small forest, ing the open gate.

"I'm here!"

She announced as she approached the two Commanders.

"Hey Alyssa!"

Rex greeted once more.

"How did you sleep?"

"I slept fine!"

She answered.

"I think all I needed was a proper rest to be fully turned on.

"That's great to hear!"

Rex exclaimed, giving her a thumbs up.

"Now, you may be wondering why we've sent you out here like that. I'm actually going to let Fred here explain it."

Alyssa turned her attention to Frederick.

"We both want to try and test your aim and your senses. Come with me!"

He instructed, walking over to five set up bullseyes. Both Rex and Alyssa followed behind him.

"I want you to stand still, where you are now, and fire at the first two targets. these words: Ready, aim, fire!"

Alyssa nodded before she readied herself, getting into a comfortable position. She raised her arm and aimed it at the first target, closing her left eye. Her fist started to glow light blue as she breathed in before blasting away at the target. Although it hit the target, it didn't hit the red centre circle, which is what Frederick tried to get her to do.

"Well you did hit the target, we just need to try and hit the bullseye. Try and close one eye and then the other rather then just one, so you could get a more better sight of where your fist is aiming at."

Frederick told her, giving her some .

"I understand that."

Alyssa said before moving over to the next target, getting in the same position and aiming her fist towards the target. She took Frederick's advice and closed both eyes one by one before blasting.

She was only just a few short inches away from the centre but it was closer then how the first one went down.

"An improvement for sure, maybe try and adjust your arm a little so you could maybe hit the full target."

Rex suggested, feeling glad that some progress is being made.

"How about this, one more target and then we move on?"

"Yeah, that sounds good!"

Alyssa said, accepting Rex's offer. She went over to the third target and got in the same position and aimed her fist once more. She closed both eyes one by one and slightly adjusted her arm a little before firing at the target.

Third time was the charm as she managed to score a bullseye, which made her very proud of herself.

"Great job Alyssa!"

Rex exclaimed as he started clapping for a few seconds.

"Now for your next two targets, we want you to wear this blindfold."

"But...I won't be able to see."

Alyssa mumbled, not knowing how she was going to be able to do this.

"And that, is the point!"

Frederick said, going to to explain his point.

"Imagine if you were suddenly blinded during battle, you would be pretty hopeless."

"But I'm not sure if...Alright let's just do this..."

Alyssa sighed, wanting to get this over with. She grabbed the blindfold and put it on.

Rex held Alyssa's hand.

"Alright, follow me!"

He said as he walked forward towards the next target, Alyssa following him.

"Okay, you're at the target, get into your position."

She got into the same position and aimed her fist, not knowing where she was firing at. She breathed in before firing her fist. It didn't even hit the target, it hit a tree a couple feet away from it.

"Yeah, we are going to have to work on that."

Frederick informed her.

S C E N E 4 : F R E D E R I C K ' S S P E E C H

Chapter 10: The Showdown

(I really wanted to include this scene, like REALLY WANTED TO, but unfortunately I ran out of space, as mentioned in the previous scene, and I couldn't include it. This scene took place after Rex and Alyssa went into hiding, Frederick was meant to announce to the force that he couldn't find any remains of his friend and that he is missing, but afterwards he starts giving a speech to them about how the war is now over and done with and that those lost will always been in their hearts. Without any more exposition, here ya go!)

Frederick turned around and headed towards the cathedral door, exiting the great building. Upon exiting, he was greeted by all the remaining . Henry walked from the jet towards the rest of the force, ing Oscar, Barry and Oliver at the front of the huge crowd.

Bobby finally gained conscious once more after that devastating blow from Terrador. He grunted as he slowly stood up, holding onto his right arm, which was hit the hardest when Terrador struck. He limped over to the Splat Force and smiled as he quickly realized that they have claimed victory over the tyrant.

Frederick looked over at the force, knowing that he was going to have to lie to each and everyone of them.

"Men, I have both good news and bad news. Let's start with the good news!"

He announced, going on to explain the positive side of things.

"Terrador is dead! The war is officially over!"

"Yes!"

"WOOOOO!"

"Victory!"

"Can't wait to go home and see the wife and kids!"

The force erupted into cheers and applause. It was finally over, they didn't have to fight anymore.

"It is a relief that everything is over now. But unfortunately I did also announce that there was going to be bad news."

Frederick sighed, knowing that what he was about to say wasn't exactly true.

"I went inside after the Rainmaker explosion, I saw Cosmo, who was only just alive. However, I couldn't find Rex, anywhere. He's missing..."

"No..."

"This can't be..."

"Not him too!"

The force cried out, their sense of happiness now replaced with sorrow.

"I never said that Rex was dead, but I'm not saying that he's alive either. But even if he was dead or alive he would want one thing for all of us, and that's to live out our lives. This war has been nothing short of a nightmare, we've all lost people we loved. They too would want us to be happy. We can finally come home to the ones we love, to those we fought to protect. We can all live the simple life that Rex fought to give not just himself, but to all of us as well. Not all is fixed however, we still have this entire area to fix. We also must get rid of the Rainmaker, we must hide it somewhere, somewhere where it can't end up in the wrong hands. But until then men, we should all go home and rest, the fight is over!"

Frederick told everyone, telling them to look at the bright side, even if the dark side of things wasn't exactly true.

Everyone celebrated that day. The four remaining Majors all group hugged each other, the Rookies all took in this entire battle and talked to each other, reminiscing on this entire war. Bobby nodded at Frederick, who in return smiled him, before creating an ice trail and skating away, back to the Swamp Village. Frederick took one last look at the Splat Force before super jumping away. All was well now...

Thx for reading the Deleted Scenes for Cosmo: A Splat Force Story! Some of these scenes I wish I was able to fit in without taking the attention away from one thing and then cutting back later.
