This is Nomad! Today I'll be sharing some details about the new Splat Force spin off series, Bolton: A Splat Force Story.

This blog basically explains some important details about this story, such as it's summary, characters, tone and many other things.

So without further ado, let's get into this!

B O L T O N : A S P L A T F O R C E S T O R Y

S U M M A R Y :

In this Splat Force spin-off story, we follow the grim early life of Bolton Vulcan as we witness how he came to be the villain that the world will eventually know him to be...

We will witness the tragedies that warped this Octolings mind, the tragedies that turned led him down the dark path. We will finally find where the original idea for The Great Salvation originated...

C H A R A C T E R S :

(So I decided to do something different this time. Instead of having portraits of these characters, I instead decided to use aethetic images that represent the characters, because I'm not an artist and I don't have the motivation to do those in game photos again.)

•Bolton Vulcan•

Bolton Vulcan will be the main protagonist/antagonist...main character of this story. As mentioned before hand, we will see him from his early days, leading him to his dark path. In each of the stories so far, we've only seen glimpses of his backstory, although a lot was told through Splat Force II: Allegiance. In this story, we are finally going to see it all for ourselves!

•Helena Court•

Helena Court is the one Inkling that truly understands the tormented Octoling, always willing to stand up for him during any dire situation. Not much is known about Helena after the past stories but after this one, we will all understand her and will especially understand why Bolton loves her so much.

•Todarodes College Students/Teachers•

This large group of characters are only side characters. However, these side characters did have an effect on how Bolton turned out. His College life will be briefly explored during the first couple of chapters. However, those chapters first chapters contain some of the more darker elements of the story.

•The Splat Force•

The Splat Force will be involved during this story. As mentioned in the past stories, the Splat Force, specifically Commander Frederick Evans played a huge role in turning Bolton into the monster that he will one day become. Some of you may already know what happens with them, try not to say what it is for any newcomers, just in case.

•Baxter Village Residents•

Baxter Village also played a huge role not just in Bolton's life but also during the events of the saga thus far. The Village is ran by a gifted Inkling named Nathan Pertch, commonly known as Terrador. Almost all of the Village residents are Gifted. For the newcomers, the gifted are individuals who have I guess powers, due to the radiation of a blown up cosmic meteorite infecting the Earths atmosphere.

E X T R A D E T A I L S :

•We will see a few returning faces from the past few stories.

•This story's theme is about downfall and loss.

•The tone will be significantly darker and deeper then any of the previous stories.

•The story will be 10 Chapters long.

•This story will be Rated M for strong violence and dark themes.

•Most of the Chapters will have some sort of warning at the start.

•This story is accessible for anyone, even if they haven't read the previous stories yet.

•Chapter 1 will be released on 24/10/2020
