Physical Traits

Zack’s fur color is Green and he has a long snout which helps differentiate him from a hedgehog, He also has long triangle shaped ears with small quills next to them, as well as a long nose.

He sports 3 hair-like quills on his forehead pointing upward, a long quill on top of his head, and 8 quills on the back of his head, center quill points down. He also has 2 additional quills on his back, as well as a long pointy tail.

Zack is also portrayed to have sharp teeth whenever he’s grinning, and also has a black colored natural eye liner. He also has no eye color, his “Movie” and “IDW” designs sport a blue/orange color mix

Zack wears:

A black Windbreaker with orange cuffs and big sleeves (which actually hide his 2 retractable chain blades

A bulletproof vest underneath his windbreaker

Fingerless Gloves with orange patches on the back of them

Personality

Zack is an extremely Cocky yet really down to earth individual, he’s also somewhat intelligent as he’s able to build tech from scratch. He’s also a pretty creative individual in general as he likes to find new ways of catching his targets during missions, creating beats and building tech.

He also isn’t a “serious type” and tends to play around at times. Zack also tends to get competitive whenever someone sures him in something, as he doesn’t like losing.

He’s pretty shy and introverted when it comes to meeting people, as he only really likes to be around people he knows. He also hates the idea of authority, and doesn’t really like to follow rules.

Zack despises people that abuse animals and children, which is why he only really goes for those people, as he finds them morally disgusting. He generally also goes for cold blooded individuals and organizations.

Zack has a phobia of Death, even though he expects it for the most part cause of his Occupation as an Assassin. He also has constant senses of “Impending Doom” meaning he always has dread of something tragic.

He is confirmed to have moderate ADHD, which would make it difficult for him to focus on a target during missions, multitasking is also a challenge for him, which is why he only does 1 mission at a time.

Zack likes to make beats and doodle in his spare time, he finds doing those things relaxing. He also likes to hang out with close friends because they provide company for him.

Zack is also an Avid “Sneaker-Head” meaning he collects shoes (specifically Air Jordans) as a hobby. He has approximately 100 unique pairs of shoes, from official to customs.

Zack idolizes famous DJ and Music Producer Madlib, main reason he got into that “DJ and Music Producing” occupation. He also idolizes MF DOOM and even has a replica of his mask.

Zack is also Bisexual as he’s had feelings and dated both genders B)

Zack is canonically a Stoner. He’s usually depicted as high, as seen with his eyes. He tends to use it because it calms him down and keeps him in a good mood, He’s also often called “Weed Sonic” due to his use of it.

Zack’s Favorite food/snack(s) are Pizza Rolls, Glazed Donuts, and Chicken tenders.

His Favorite drink(s) are Pepsi, Mug Root Beer, Capri-sun and Hi-C Flashin’ Fruit punch.

Zack’s Favorite genres of music are Hip Hop/Underground Hip Hop, and Lo-Fi Hip Hop

Zack’s Favorite animal is a Zebra because he likes the black and white color-way.

His Favorite color is orange, it’s the color of his Bandana and part of his Jordans.

His favorite sport is basketball, although he doesn’t play it himself, he likes to watch others play.

Strong Points

Although Zack struggles at keeping focus on a target during a mission, he never leaves empty handed. And even though he isn’t the smartest thing around, he always manages to organize a plan and take down his targets

Zack has quite a lot of experience when it comes to dirty work like assassinations, even though he’s only been in the business for 3 years.

Zack tends to get creative when it comes to making beats, as he likes using obscure music/samples for his stuff and flipping it around.

Zack is also pretty creative when it comes to making tech, after all he did make a 1:1 scale robot clone.

Weak Points

While Zack never leaves empty handed, he always tends to mess up that results in him getting into a bit of trouble.

Zack gets pretty nervous when it comes to meeting new people, and sometimes that nervousness gets the best of him, meaning he’d start acting odd around said person.

Some of his gadgets have turned rogue against him, have been hijacked, or have backfired so badly, he’d have to destroy them. He improves on them because “Zack learns from his mistakes”

Occupation(s)

Assassin:

Zack is an Avid assassin, he’s paid anonymously and only goes for criminals, individuals and organizations.

He’s been known to take down multiple gangs and organizations. He also has a confirmed kill count of 100,000.

The only reason he hasn’t been caught yet is cause he always keeps a low profile and goes by different aliases every time just in case he gets “identified”

He also kills people as a sport, cause he finds it fun.

DJ/Music Producer

Zack’s favorite occupation is being a DJ and Music producer. As said earlier, he makes beats in his meantime he finds it relaxing and stress relieving.

His favorite way of making these beats is by using the “E-mu SP-1200”

He’s also known to host tours under the alias “Zace” using a plethora of different tech, his favorite being the turntables.

As for Music producing, Zack gets paid to produce beats for multiple people, he also at times comes up with some lyrics for the artist to go off of.

Zack likes to call himself “the new Tony Stark” due to his ability to build gadgets, his most ambitious of all, Mecha Zack.

Backstory

ZTC CANON

Zack was born in Detroit, Michigan and had been the test subject of multiple experiments. It wasn’t until he was 3 when they injected him with a substance called “resistance injection” was when he lost all memory about his past as a side affect, including his parents.

Thus, he was plumped into an orphanage where he remained. Nobody wanted to adopt him. He then took up school but was generally introverted and had no friends except John (who he’d later find out who he actually is).

At 14, He would eventually quit school to apply for an office job, and would work there for less than a year.

He quit his office job and took up underground Assassin training at age 14 and remained in training for 2 years.

Zack has a suspicion that the Government had something to do with the experiments which is why he despises them, and Authority overall.

Special Abilities/Forms

Zack has managed to build weapons from scratch. These include:

A proton cannon that he can attach on his arm

Chain blades (retractable sharp blades)

Shoulder missiles

Fully customizable Assault Rifle

Mecha Zack

Galvanic technology (physical electric weapons)

AI technology

Zack also has a Super form, he can obtain it by absorbing the power of the chaos emeralds.

This form turns his fur purple, gives him new clothing, and inverts the quills on the back of his head, as well as his back. It also makes his eyes black and his pupils red

There’s more to this form than just change his appearance.

Zack gains Supernatural strength, speed and durability, it also massively buffs every weapon he touches. And whenever he isn’t using that weapon, it becomes dull and unusable.

The super Form overall just buffs every stat.

Trivia/Extra Fun Facts

Before turning him into a Tenrec, I was originally gonna consider turning him into a porcupine, but I changed it to a Tenrec later on as his design at the time didn’t fit the criteria of being a porcupine.

Zack canonically adopted a Sprigatito.

If the character ever gets any branding, the Nike logo would be removed in order to avoid lawsuit

This new Zack design is actually the 2nd main iteration of the character, the first being the original “Zack the hedgehog”, meaning the character has only been significantly redesigned once

The new Zack design actually started off as a Friday Night Funkin’ Minus character who I originally made as a one off, but then the design grew on me to the point where it practically became his main design overall.
