First of all, thank you so much everyone for your patience! This event was meant to launch on the 1st but things kept pushing this back.

February is often seen as a time for romance and relationships. And while these are certainly worth being grateful for, it's important to that it's always just about flowers, the chocolates, or the oversized teddy bears. It's about the love and

So this February, let's honour the other kind of love with an event dedicated to friendships and found family.

Categories

Art Category

Use #FastFriendsArt in your entry!

For all you artists out there, your challenge is to create a piece that showcases what friendship or family means to you!

You could draw Sonic, Tails and Knuckles having a race, or paint a picture of Shadow and Maria. You could even draw your OC with your friends OCs!

Art category includes: Digital drawings/paintings, and traditional art like paintings, inked pieces, DETAILED pencil drawings, etc.

Variety Category

Use #FastFriendsVariety in your entry!

This is the category for all you other creative people out there! Because this category is so diverse, all you need to do is create an entry about friendship!

It could be a story about Amy, Cream and Blaze having a tea party, an edit of your favourite Sonic friend group, or even something more abstract like a composition (think 'Friends' from Sonic Mania). Go crazy!

Variety category includes: Written stories, comics, poems, crafts, music, edits, cosplays, informative blogs, etc.

Rules

To make things as fair and friendly as possible, we have some rules for the challenge. Please follow them to ensure that your entry is counted!

• As always, follow the [guidelines]

• No plagiarism (immediate disqualification from the event)

• No AI (immediate disqualification from the event)

• Respect the other participants

• One entry per category

• Cannot enter one post into two categories

• Platonic friendships only - sorry, shippers!

• Let's keep things positive - things don't always work which seriously sucks but the idea of this challenge is for when it does work

• Art category entries must focus on two or more characters

• Variety category entries must relate to friendship in some way (plus keep it Sonic-related)

• OCs / AUs / Headcanons / Fankids are allowed

• Villains are allowed to have friends too!

• Low-effort entries will not be counted (uncolored sketches, single-paragraph stories, haiku poems, etc.)

The following prizes apply to both categories. A participation reward of 100 coins will be given if a category has only two entries or less, so there's no need to worry about your hard work going to waste!
