A Year as Staff

Today marks one year since I became a staff member. My final goal on Amino has now long been achieved. So, I wanted to thank you all for the throughout the years.

I’d say the journey to staff started around December 2019, when I made agreements with some of the staff to become the host of the Monthly Challenges. I started in this role around February 2020.

Then in around April/May 2020 I was invited to a chat called the Revolution Chat, which consisted of some staff and some other s, many of whom are now my closest friends here.

In August 2020 I ed the Feature Fanatics and in early October 2020 myself and many others began training for Curator.

And then on October 27 2020, the big day came.

Being staff has been a great opportunity for me. It has taught me a lot about leadership, responsibility and teamwork. I've made some amazing friends through this, and it has been incredible.

I did a lot of stuff during my time as staff that I'm happy with, such as:

• Summer Splashdown in June

• King of Pop Concert in July

• Be Proud in August

• -A-Friend in September

• Creator Spotlight in October

This is something that I have been thinking about a lot this past couple of months. I ed the staff team to help make the Sonic community a better, more inclusive place.

I think my mission is complete and it's time to move on. I will be stepping down on November 12, 2021.

Blogs will return in 2022, but will be much more infrequent. This story is over.
