Hello SUA!

Sorry if this blog is late for Main Monday, it took me awhile to finish it :sweat_smile: . But anyway has you now know, I decided to post this blog for Main Monday. So since Main Monday is about your mains, of course I'm going to talk about Sonic since he's my main in super smash bros ultimate. So today you will learn things about Sonic, some of these things you will learn are Sonic's combos, Sonic's Moveset, Sonic's victory Scenes, Sonic's colour alts.

Why I Main Sonic

I main Sonic for a lot of reasons and I've already said most of them before in other blogs but I main Sonic because he was a huge part of my childhood, Sonic was the first game I ever played, I like the look of the character, I love playing Sonic games, I like using Sonic's speed as a advantage in super smash bros and I like Sonic's moveset in super smash bros, which is what I'm going to be talking about next.

Sonic's Moveset

Neutral Attacks

Jab: Sonic does one punch, this does about 2.4% damage.

Jab Combo: Sonic does two punches then a kick, this does about 9.0% damage.

Dash Attack: Sonic runs and does a low dive kick, this does 4.8% to 7.2% damage depending on what part of the attack hits first.

Aerial Attacks

Neutral Aerial: Sonic does a short spin ball in the air, this does 9.6% to 14.4% damage.

Forward Aerial: Sonic does a body spin forwards, hitting you with his head, this does 4.5% to 7.1% damage.

Up Aerial: Sonic claps his legs together upwards, this does 8.2% to 13.2% damage.

Back Aerial: Sonic does a backwards kick, this does 12.0% to 16.8% damage.

Down Aerial: Sonic does a kick downwards but slightly angled to the left or right, this attack can also spick people of the stage, this does 8.4% to 9.6% damage.

Tilt Attacks

Up Tilt: Sonic does two kicks upwards, this does 7.2% to 9.6% damage.

Side Tilt: Sonic kicks outwards, this does 8.4% to 13.2% damage.

Down Tilt: Sonic does a low spinning kick, this does 7.2% damage.

Pummel And Throws

Pummel: Sonic will knee his opponent in the face, this does 1.5% damage.

Up Throw: Sonic will throw his opponent up then use his spikes to hurt them on the way down, this does 7.2% damage.

Forward Throw: Sonic kicks his opponent forward, this does 8.4% damage.

Back Throw: Sonic will spin backwards a few times with his opponent then Sonic will kick them behind him, this does 8.4% damage.

Down Throw: Sonic will spin dash on top of his opponent, this does 9.6% damage.

Smash Attacks

Up Smash: Sonic does a spin attack in the air, this does 9.6% to 23.5% damage.

Side Smash: Sonic does a powerful punch, this does 16.8% to 23.5% damage.

Down Smash: Sonic does the splits and kicks outwards, this does 15.3% to 20.1% damage.

Specials And Final Smash

Neutral Special: Sonic does a homing attack, this does more damage the higher Sonic rises, this can do about 8.4% to 24.0% damage.

Up Special: Sonic will jump up of a spring, the spring will stay for a few seconds if you use it on the ground, the spring can also does 4.8% damage if it his your opponent while the Spring falls down.

Side Special: Sonic does a spin dash, Sonic will roll faster and do more damage the longer it's been charged. This does 6.0% to 13.0% damage and if you hit your opponent on the way back it does about 16.8% damage. Also you can combo into any aerial attacks after hitting your opponent with this attack.

Down Special: Sonic will do a spin charge, this attack will do more damage the more you press down b, this does about 10.9% to 20.7% damage.

Final Smash: Sonic will use the power of the seven Chaos Emeralds to transform into Super Sonic. After Sonic goes Super Sonic he will fly really fast across the screen to hit his opponent, you can control how high or low Sonic fly's by moving the left control stick up and down.

You can avoid most of Sonic's final smash, when he hits you up to the top blast zone, use your recovery/up b to go higher and avoid getting hit more by Sonic's final smash.

Sonic's Taunts And Victory Scenes

Taunts

Up Taunt: Sonic will kinda do a little front flip then do a pose with his Intex finger out.

Side Taunt: Sonic will run on the spot saying "sonic speed”.

Down Taunt: Sonic will break dance for a moment saying "come on” :joy: .

Victory Scenes

Victory Scene 1: Sonic runs and grabs a Chaos Emerald and says "piece of cake”.

Victory Scene 2: Sonic runs across the screen then he stops and does a thumbs up and says "that was almost to easy”.

Victory Scene 3: Sonic does a break dance and then he does a pose while he says "let's do that again sometime”.

Sonic's Alternate Colours

Here's a picture of all of Sonic's alternate colours, also sorry if the picture is bad, I had to make a picture because I couldn't find any with Sonic's Alts in smash ultimate :sweat_smile: .

Conclusion
