914 Experiment-Log Challenge

This location serves to observe, collect, and research all of the anomalous effects that come from S-914.

Due to S-914’s wide array of differing results, effects, and the attempted efforts to conclude if S-914 is sentient, we have selected several of you to help us conduct the next several experiments regarding S-914.

If you the incident during the containment of 73 subjects, we also have stripped them of their possessions and belongings. Referred items have been written into the Log of Anomalous Items and have been placed in the Site Armory, the same goes with the possessions and belongings of the recent 73 subjects.

Before you can begin to experiment, you must maintain a basis of professionalism within the Site, failure to do so will result in license termination or transfer offsite. , our goal is to Secure, Contain, and Protect the world from learning the unnatural. Dr. Veritas will explain the rest.

Dr. Veritas: Greetings Researcher, I assume this is your first time on site? Don’t worry, take this layout of the facility and this photograph of S-914, it should help you get around the place and give you a good idea what to expect. What’s important is how I help demonstrate to you is how S-914 operates.

You may read S-914’s document later, but to summarize, S-914 is a very advanced machine that contains the anomalous effect of ‘refining’ objects into various results, this can be done by placing an object into the left chamber, turning the center dial to help discern how well refined do you want the object to be changed, and turning the dial below.

Shortly after, S-914 will begin to ‘refine’ or process the given objects, based on what objects were inputted, the wanted refining process, the output can vary, from disassembling a clock to turning it into a sound grenade. Such testing must be carried out with secure discretion. Please read S-914’s Containment Log for more information.

It seems that I have digressed for way too long, the reason we brought you here is because you were involved in not only the capture of the 73 subjects, but that you also wrote individual S Logs for each even during a containment breach, Dr. Clef is still being reprimanded from that incident.

Now, with your knowledge, we have stripped each of the 73 subjects of their possessions and weapons, it’s your job now to conduct tests using these items, and I beg you, don’t be an idiot and try to recreate items for personal use, it’s an easy way to be placed on leave or be terminated.

Here’s the testing format, the conditioned requirements, an exampled experiment log, the expected effects under S-914’s use, and a Note given to all conditioned researchers.

=Requirements=

• Use one of the many collected items from the 73 subjects for testing, i.e Lucina’s Falchion, Mario’s Cap, Assist Trophies, basically, use items from Smash or the fighter’s weapons or possessions for testing.

• Descriptions of the Total Items must require detailed information, the same goes for input and output.

• Up to 2 of 914’s Dial Settings must be used, you may repeat the process to receive varying results, see Note 2 for more information.

• You may test as much as you want, what we’re looking for is detailed descriptions and unexpected results

• Test Number will follow as: Test 914-(4digitshere)

What can be Expected from 914’s Setting Dial

• Rough - Output can be noted that object has been severely mishandled during refining process, resulting in the object to either rust, fail to function properly, or to appear relatively worn and damaged, burns also noted

• Coarse - Output has been flawlessly disassembled into it’s basic material composition or has been grinded into neatly set material for observation, useful for reverse-engineering

• 1:1 - Output is relatively tame, brand or make might be altered, if not, will function the same as the object was initially designed to be used

• Fine - Output may be significantly changed if not, completely different, object may contain a few new anomalous properties and or noticeable improvisations

• Very Fine - Output may be drastically changed and may contain if not, many new functions, anomalous effects, and probably dangerous properties, output could also be an improved, more understandable version of the input. There is also a probability that the item may become completely obsolete, like I said, S-914 is very random with its results

Note 2: Due to S-914’s properties of randomizing the output, do not attempt to log the same result of the same object and the same refining process used, this only applies to the 1:1, Fine, and Very Fine settings. Failure to do to will result in disqualification. - Hackett

Name: Dr. Anton

Date: 23/09/2018

Total items: Four model solar systems. All models are consistent, with plastic spheres representing the planets, and an iron base.

Note: I got these models looking around the Site-19 lost and found. -Dr.Anton

Input: One model solar system

Setting: Coarse

Output: Nine plastic spheres, melted ink, and the model’s stand. Four of the spheres were ejected at high velocity, injuring Dr. Anton. Experiment resumed 30 minutes later.

Input: One model solar system

Setting: 1:1

Output: No change the output model contains Pluto as well as the rest of the planets. Jupiter is noticeably smaller, presumably to for the added mass.

Note: Recently, debates began about Pluto’s position about a dwarf planet. It's interesting how S-914 picked up on it. -Dr. Anton.

Input: One model solar system

Setting: Fine

Output: A iron “core”, surrounded by several thousand tiny plastic spheres, suspended in the air via unknown means relative to the iron “core”, appearing as a Spiral Galaxy. Despite the levitation effects, the plastic’s weight still s on a scale. Further analysis shows it is a model of the Andromeda Galaxy.

Input: One model solar system

Setting Very Fine

Output: An iron cube, with a plastic “lens”. The cube has several buttons on the side of it. The device operates without an external power source. It projects a hologram of any region of space the wants, allowing them to zoom in on an area using it.

Note: Dr. Anton spent 30 minutes experimenting with the device and discovered [DATA EXPUNGED]. object was incinerated, and all involved personnel were given class-C amnestics.
