A lot of people believe Chrom still being part of Robin's Final Smash is because Chrom was possibly the last character considered to be part of the roster other than DLC. The same could go for why his Mii Costume from Smash 4 still exists in the game. It's also worth noting that the regular Fire Emblem victory theme that Marth, Roy, and Ike has plays when Chrom wins a match instead of the new one that Robin and Lucina received, when all 3 of them come from Fire Emblem Awakening.

In case you didn't get the joke every time you died in MGS3 if you waited long enough on the game over screen the text would turn into "TIME PARADOX"
