“Der Phew-er” WW2 Novelty

Good evening everybody! It’s been awhile since I’ve last posted so I thought I’d share this little novelty item that I got in the mail today. This is a cast iron “Der Phew-er” statue, basically Adolf Hitler’s head on a skunks body. These propaganda pieces were sold for about $1 during World War 2. If you look closely on the posterior end, you can see “Mussolini” and “Hirohito” along with an arrow pointing to the stinker. Quite an interesting piece of history!
