Patch testing is simply trying out a product in one area of you skin to test for possible negative reactions. It’s highly recommended to be done before using any new product especially if you have sensitive skin or have many allergies.

I always patch test on my forearm first because for some 3i always get hives there first. And if I dont get a reaction I test on the bottom of my face/chin next.
Oh, whenever I test on my arms I rarely get a bad reaction. So i usually start with my chin then one cheek.
