Chapter 33:

Grayson: “How are you feeling, Prim? Do you need anything?”

Primrose: “I’m nervous, but mostly excited. I just can’t wait to make sure everything’s okay.”

Keslie: “Is today when we see baby? Is baby weally in youw tummy, Momma?”

-slide 3-

Primrose: “Yes, Kessy, the baby is in Momma’s tummy. And today, we get to see a picture of them for the very first time.”

Grayson: “Keslie, are you excited to meet your baby sibling?”

Keslie: “Uh-huh! Baby’s gonna pway wif me, wight?”

Primrose:  “Maybe one day, sweetheart. Right now, they’re too small for toys.”

Grayson: “Alright, let’s head in. Prim, I’ll hold your hand the whole time if you want.”

Primrose: “Always, Gray.”

Doctor: “Hello, Berri family. Ready to see your little one?”

Keslie: “Yes, yes, yes!! Show us baby!”

Doctor: “Alright, let’s get started.”

Grayson: “Is that… is that them?”

Doctor: “That’s your baby. Right now, they’re about the size of a pebble.”

Keslie: “A pebbwe baby?!”

Primrose: “I can’t believe it. They’re really in there.”

Grayson: “Look at that heartbeat. It’s so strong.”

Doctor: “The baby looks perfect. Heartbeat is steady, and they’re developing right on track. You’re doing great, Primrose.”

Primrose: “Thank you. That’s such a relief.”

Keslie: “Can baby see us too?”

Grayson: “Not yet, Kessy. But they can feel Momma keeping them safe.”

Doctor: “You’ll be able to learn more about the baby’s growth at your next appointments. Today’s focus is making sure everything’s on track, and it’s looking great.”

Primrose: “I can’t thank you enough.”

Grayson: “We’re so grateful. This means so much to us.”

Keslie: “When can I show baby Cookie?”

Primrose: “Soon, Kessy. Baby has to grow a lot more first.”

Grayson: “Let’s head home, Prim. You need to rest after this, okay?”

Primrose: “Fine, but only if you make tea later.”

Keslie: “Me hewp Papa! We take cawe of Momma and baby!”

Grayson: “That’s my little helper. Let’s go.”

Primrose: “They’re so tiny, but already so loved.”

Grayson: “Our little family just keeps growing. I can’t wait to meet them.”
