The Matthews ~ Ayline ~ Part 1

"Momma and poppa fowgot me agwain!" said 4 year old Ayline Matthews, irritated. She was looking down the stairs. Her parents used to forget to take her down to the first floor in the morning because they were always in such a hurry.

Never once had Ayline walked down them. Yes she have attempted, but never managed to get down.

Last time she tried, she fell down the stairs and had to go to the hospital. And that was 2 years ago. But she promised to never walk down them ever again.

I don't wanna fall down again.

She squats down and takes an closer look, maybe this is the day? The day she will manage to walk down. (Toddlers couldn't walk down the stairs, idk why. I haven't played much with toddlers tbh)

OH NO! I ALMOWST FOWGOT!

Ayline stood up. She almost forgot her newest toy!

She ran back to her room, which she shared with her parents. Her bed was tucked in the corner of the room.

A big unicorn om the side. Ah, what a memory of her getting that.

Ayline had borrowed *stole* some colorpens from Josh's room and started coloring the wall. Both of her parents saw her and she was in deep trouble.

What was worse was that they found out that it didn't get cleaned away. So to make it pretty they hired someone to make Ayline a unicorn.

Ayline was so happy that day.

Now she had looked everywhere in the little corner of hers. She always takes her newest toys up into the bed.

BUT SHE CAN'T FIND IT!

Ayline started crying. How could she lose her toy already? She already loved it. And now she lost it!

Her mother heard her and came up to check what was happening. She comforted Ayline while picking her up and hugging her.

Her mother is a beautiful woman. No doubt about that. And Ayline loved her mother, with all her heart.

She loved both of her parents. Always coming with a new flower every time they are out walking in the park. Making the laugh.

And no doubt, did they love her.

Ayline said that she lost her toy. Still crying on her mother's shoulder.

"Oh my baby girl" Elizabeth said. "You fell asleep downstairs so your Poppa had to carry you up to bed."

Hope glistened in Ayline's eyes. Maybe she hadn't lost her toy yet!

Elizabeth carried her down, and putting her down just after she had walked down the stairs.

Whewe have I putw it?

Ayline wasn't the best at pronouncing words and walking, but she was getting better. She had bigger things to do.

Always been curious of the world.

She ran to the livingroom, as fast as she could. Knowing where her toy was.

And there it was!

She grabbed her toy, a red playcar and climbed up to the sofa.

She was so happy that she hadn't lost it! She hugged it and started playing.

Her mother took her to daycare and that was like any normal day.

Running around, drawing, playing and being with other kids.

And even more playing when she got home! Now Josh had ed in!

Josh have always been her favorite sibling. Always there to play with her! They weren't to many years apart, but a few.

They played until dinner.

And after all that playing, Ayline fell asleep. Wouldn't you?
