Realm of Magic: Season 1 Part 25 - Mishaps

Tomax and Grace had a rough start to their morning.

Tomax: You need to listen to me!!

Grace: How? You're always yelling at me.

Tomax: YOU'RE NOT LISTENING!

Grace: I don't need you to parent me on how I parent.

Tomax: I'm just trying to compromise on what we're doing with our children who are not children anymore.

Grace: We don't need to do anything. They're fine and we're fine, why do we need to always do something?

Tomax: Because if you go down, you're taking me with you, and I can not allow that!

Tomax: You will just do ANYTHING to protect yourself, and you'll throw ANYONE under the bus to keep your sorry bum safe.

Grace; Bum? What, you can yell but can't be vulgar against me?

Tomax: You're insane..

Grace: We were in this together since Esther and I REFUSE to go through the consequences alone. I am anything but INSANE! Don't throw that word at me as if you invented it.

Tomx: I don't want my sons to hate me.

Grace: OUR. They are OUR sons, and what if they already do? Hmm?

Tomax: They don't...

Grace: Hmph.

Tomax: *sigh* Let's talk, please. I'm sick of this fighting. Let's just talk and try to figure things out.

Grace: No, all you do is yell yell yell. You're too worried about the boys when guess what? They're living their own lives, and do they even think of us at this point? You'll end up hearing one is engaged and ones graduating college by the time you catch your breath. I'm surprised your voice holds up with all your yelling.

Tomax: You're really just going to try to pretend like we never committed a crime?

Grace: There you go, we, yes dear, WE committed a crime. Quite frankly, yes, I will pretend that it never happened because what is going to happen? Will Esther come back from her ashes? No. So why would I continue to worry about what's going to happen?

Tomax: Our sons have been investigating. Alex wants to know about his mother, and he will find out her death and how and who caused it if he continues to look into it. That's my concern. Here, I am trying to protect US and you're not listening enough to understand that.

Grace: Maybe, I just don't care anymore.

Tomax: Ugh!! You're impossible to talk to.

Grace: Ugh!! So are you.

Grace and Tomax had a moment of silence. Tomax had to leave for work. They'd have their much needed space from each other.

Grace decided to go out to a club and hang out at the bar. The bartender ended up accidently mixing up her drinks with other customers, so Grace thought of punishing her by setting her on fire.

Grace: Maybe this will teach you to pay attention to who you're serving!

Bartender: Woah, what was that? That was an odd feeling.

Bartender: Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my god, I'm on fire!!!

Grace chuckles before she realizes the bartender was frozen before burning to ash.

Tomax apologized to the bartender and pulled Grace aside.

Tomax: What the hell are you doing?!

Grace: What? I'm having fun, blowing off steam.

Tomax: Setting innocent sims on fire? Have you not learned your lesson?! These sims have families and loved ones. They're not involved with our business.

Grace: Nobody even cares.

Tomax: You did it in front of other sims! They SAW a sim randomly get set on fire. How would they explain that?

Grace: Alcohol is flammable🤷‍♀

Tomax: We need to talk, NOW!

Grace: It's fine. She lived.

Tomax: Oh yeah? She would've been ash if it wasn't for me!

Grace: I wouldn't have let it go that far, I need to keep my magic fresh.

Tomax: There are other ways to do that without anyone getting hurt.

Grace: That's not fun. What's the point of having this power if I can't use it to its full compacity?

Tomax: Again, you're NOT listening. I'm just about had it with you, Grace.

Grace: ... What do you mean?

Tomax: I think it'll be best if I moved out and we have space. Actual space. I can't come home, and you're missing, and I find you burning innocent sims. If you want to harm sims, then I'm not going to be a part of it.

Grace: Move out? Where will you go? I can't afford the house without you!

Tomax: Fine. We'll sell the house and get apartments. We may live close by each other, but we'll be living separately.

Grace: ...

Tomax: That's final Grace. I'm not playing your games anymore. Next straw is a divorce. It was long awaited anyway.

Grace: Divorce? :broken_heart:

Tomax: I'm serious this time. You need to listen. Goodbye, Grace.

Tomax leaves the bar and leaves Grace heartbroken with the thought of divorce. Will they get an official divorce? How will they solve the mess they made thus far?
