I’m back with another Candy Shop Legacy part! Star’s matriarchy has been off to a pretty sad start with her father and uncle (Jordan) dying. In this part, we deal with yet another loss

If you keep up with this series, then you probably know Star is pregnant! Well, we begin this part with Star going into labor! She gave birth to a healthy baby girl named Pepper Sweets (like peppermint, but also kind of named after Pepper Potts.) Of course the baby bassinet is green :wink: I thought the name would be perfect because this next generation is the spearmint leaves generation!

Unfortunately, Snickers hasn’t been so healthy. He peed on the floor, is dizzy, and has something leaking from his mouth. Snickers has gotten sick again, so Charles took him to the vet. He was diagnosed with squirrel scratch fever, and again, we went with the expensive treatment because we can afford it.

Snickers was immediately happy and well again!

It looks like there were a few other births in the extended family! Avery had a kid, and Hannah had twins! Avery’s child is a day older than Pepper, and the twins are younger. I’m sure Pepper will have plenty of company with first-cousins that are close in age. Names to be revealed :eyes:

I’m not really sure what Charles is holding, but it’s stopping him from feeding Pepper 🤔

Star reached cooking skill level 5! Not a requirement, but it’s a goal to max it out along with the gourmet cooking skill. Lots of things have been breaking around the house, and Charles reached handiness level 3.

Charles got his logic level up to 3, and read 3 books! He’s now completed an aspiration milestone and his new year’s resolution

It’s sad to say, but Snickers has ed on to a better place. The creepy thing is, my friend delivered the news that the real life Snickers (the cat this sim one was named after), has ed this morning. He was 15/16 years old and will be missed by many :pensive: 2020 has been a pretty tragic year for countless and in many different ways

The sim Snickers ed during my gameplay a few days ago, but real life Snickers ed today.

The whole household was there to witness it, and Charles was in the middle of eating a BLT. His grave was brought to the graveyard and put next to Henry’s. There were a couple fans that were stalking Reese again which is a bit insensitive :/

Star wrote a sad book called “Goodbye.” as a result of Snickers’ death, and reached writing level 6. After that, she went jogging to clear her mind. She had practically grown up with Snickers and now he’s gone

On a happier note, Avery’s child aged up to a toddler! Her name is Julia Webster (father is Greyson Webster), and she’s just super adorableeee. My younger sister wanted to do her makeover, so she did! From now on, my sister will be doing makeovers for families of the spares, but not the spares themselves as I will still be doing those. I think Julia’s outfits turned out pretty cute! Also her toddler trait is fussy

During the night, apparently the grim reaper was still there from Snickers’ death, and he picked up Pepper with his cold hands- a bit creepy...
