Brief Backstory

⋇Akane was born in Trost District, she was a normal girl who always help her parents doing chores in her childhood days, she was a bit tomboyish at times and she had high interest in seeing what the nature looks like outside the walls but she never knew a lot about it yet because she normally is staying indoors and just knows the environment where she lives. Akane had always been teased and bullied by older kids that she is just a weakling because of her being such a crybaby at that moment, Akane vowed to herself that she will prove that she is not a weakling but a strong girl.

After she grew older, She became more matured in personality and Akane enrolled in military training and it was also the time she started training to prove that she is not a weakling.

During her training as a cadet, Akane met alot of people like Marco, Armin, Eren, Jean, Bertholdt and Mikasa. Akane heard about Eren's story and she was shocked to hear about it. Akane didn't ask Eren how scary the titans are because she doesn't want to pressure Eren and knew he is traumatized at that. Despite gaining a lot of friends, she became more closer with Marco and Armin. Even though she hides it, she had a crush on Marco because she adored how idealistic he is and was impressed how he can have a good value with the others in his own thinking. Though she never told it to anyone and only Armin which Armin in return, kept it in secret for her. Akane is also ing the two when they perform equipment maintenance together and she always tags along with them and bringing them food and drinks.

During the training on how to slay Titans, she showed some good skills even she is failing at times. Akane never knew how scary the titans are yet that time and she just shrugged it off and because she never asked Eren about it.

When their first mission had started, Akane finally knew how scary the Titans are after the Colossal Titan appeared in the Trost District and had destroyed the Trost Wall where they are. Which was also Akane's birthplace and she got surrounded by fear and anxiety after she saw other cadets being eaten alive by titans she finally knew why some people hate the titans. Instead of crying and mourning for the other cadets' death, Akane continued to fight and she promised she will avenge the soldiers who had sacrificed their lives to help the citizens from the titans.

After she graduated, she ed the Survey Corps because of a certain reason. She enrolled in military training because she believed she could get a chance to see the outside world. What she wanted, Is to show that even she is woman, She will fight and show that she can do what the others cannot do because of them being coward. And she truly confessed that she is not one of those cowards.
