Levi sang along with the song in the background as he sat up the tree in the corner of his and Eren’s living room. Originally he was going to just sit in bed read a book and sip on his tea but Eren had other plans this Christmas. The bouncy brunette left Levi home to set up all the decorations as he ran out to the store to get supplies to cook with, knowing he’d screw up some how while cooking his little strict boyfriend would come in and help him. Looking down at the list Levi set in notes on his phone he grabbed cookie batter,and already made cookies if baking went south,sprinkles,frosting,and all the supplies on the What seemed like never ending list. Smiling at the thought of the two spending their first Christmas together has a couple he wanted it to be special at least this one time to his surprise Levi agreed and didn’t complain.

Hanging a some ornaments on the white tree. Some were your average ‘everyone has it’ ornaments to your fancy and expensive type. Photos of the two in different places and scenarios like one that hung directly in the middle. Levi and Eren hugging in their bedroom watching the snow fall outside of one of the many windows in the room. Just on cue his bubbly brat bounced through the door wearing Levi’s long trench coat carrying all the bags,which was over twenty,”Levi I’m here!” His voice rang with excitement as he carefully laid the grocery bags on the counter.”Welcome back.” Levi mumbled softly kissing Eren’s shoulder hugging him from behind thankful he made it back unharmed. The smile that all ways made his heart jump with joy never fell as he turned towards him embracing him after taking off the coat laying in the back of a chair.

The two laughed as they tasted the sweets they attempted at making. Agreeing they didn’t taste pleasant Eren got the already made and put them away for tomorrow, Christmas Day as well as Levi’s birthday. Levi being to occupied with making their dinner didn’t notice Eren sneak a cake behind him and placing it furthers in the back of the fridge. “Babe can you get the ranch for me please?” Levi asked innocently turning to Eren a pout mixed in with his bored expression. Nodding a yes to Levi’s question while pushing himself off the counter walking over to him. Expanding his arm up to grab the ranch from the top counter Levi placed there getting it out of his way while cooking. Handing it to Levi who gladly took it pecking Eren’s lips mumbling a thank you.”Welcome.” He said returning the kiss before heading off to setup the table.

Hours filled with cooking and the two lovers having a great time together. Finally at ten o’clock all the cooking and eating dinner was done.”We should do that again next year.” Levi smiled slightly nuzzling into Eren in their warm king sized bed. Wrapping an arm lazily around Levi’s hip the other arm folded up under his head.”Hey,um,Eren..” Levi stated nervously covering part of his face from embrassement.”Yes?” He kept his head on Levi’s eyes closed enjoying the moment.”I-I love you...” his voiced stuttered out into a mumble against Eren’s chest feeling lips connect to the top of his head.
