I know it's Monday evening and that doesn't really count as the weekend, but I thought this challenge was great and really wanted to participate. I've been busy all weekend with basically only enough time to check in, respond to a comment or two, then leave again. But now I have time!
Without further ado, here is #myadaptation
The Glory Days of Scott
Based on The "Gloria Scott"
The story follows William Sherlock Scott Holmes (currently going by the name Scott) during his time in university. It's a lonely time at first, with Scott spending his days focused on his Chemistry and little more, until one frosty morning whilst walking to his morning lecture, a small bull terrier sets herself upon his ankle. The owner of the dog - another undergraduate student called Victor Trevor - apologises profusely and insists on looking after Scott, who cannot walk for the next week or two. During that time, a fierce bond forms between the two of them, and together they get up to all sorts of mischief. But what occurs between them that sets Scott on a path to becoming Sherlock Holmes - consulting detective, self-proclaimed high-functioning sociopath, ex-junkie, dog lover?
