You ever get salty about really silly things? Me today. A while back (like,,, a year ago. why does this still bother me omg) there was this image going around and people saying it was how to tie your scarf like Sherlock. And I'm here to tell ya that, as fancy as it looks, it is not how Sherlock ties his scarf. He doesn't have time for pretty patterns like this, and the reality is wayyy simpler.

Here's the image that was going around that motivated this post. The cross through is my own, of course.
Below is Sherlock showing you how it's really done!

Too fast for you? Want a step-by-step guide? No problem! I'll show you.
Step one:
Take your scarf and fold it lengthways so that the shorter edges meet.

Step two:
Pop it round your neck.

Step three:
Take the folded end and separate it to make a loop.

Step four:
Pull both parts of the doubled-up end through the loop you just made.

Step five:
Adjust so it rests neatly in the centre of your chest.

Ta-da~!

I made a GIF to represent it, too, and slowed it half speed, but it's a bit dark. My apologies!

Cosplay tutorial over.
