Born on January 9th 1989 in Tampa Florida, Cody Carson is the Lead Vocalist of the band Set it Off. At the beginning of his career, he helped his band and fellow band gain a following through YouTube on his original YouTube channel, rockmaniac89.

Cody Carson met Dan Clermont in High School, when the 2 of them where in the school Marching Band. Zach DeWall and (former member) Austin Kerr were in a band prior to ing Set it Off, and the team met Maxx Danziger through a mutual friend.
