who do i prefer? selena or ariana?

hello selenators amino!

today i would like to focus on a topic people have been asking me for awhile now. Selena Gomez or Ariana Grande? Again, this blog is full of my personal opinions. So please don’t be angered if you disagree with them. After all we are all entitled to our own opinions.

now to straightforwardly answer your question, it is

now... why do i prefer selena over the ponytail icon, “thank u, next” star unlike half the people i know?

1. childhood star

Ariana only became an existent person to my memory when I was 11 years old and in 6th grade. Meanwhile I knew Selena ever since I was a toddler. And all those toddler times, her appearances on Wizards of Waverly Place and Barney was what made me happy. She was the only celebrity I knew the name of at 5 years old besides Zac Efron. Her works on Disney is what made me get through my childhood to tween years. But I never had a childhood with Ariana’s nickelodeon projects like Sam and Cat and Victorious.

2. can’t stand ari

I’m not sure how to explain this. But there is just something about Ariana that makes me really annoyed at her. Especially if she’s sometimes the topic my friends talk about.... no wait ALMOST EVERY TIME. She’s also on my instagram explore page 24/7 making me wanna roll my eyes at her. LIKE CAN WE HAVE OTHER CELEBS TOO? LIKE MAYBE BAZZI OR A TRIBUTE POST TO CORY MONTEITH OR CAMERON BOYCE?!!!

3. relate more to selena’s music

comparing what both S and A’s songs are about, Selena’s songs honestly have more feeling than Ari songs. Seriously the only song I have on my personal spotify playlist by Ari is “Thank U, Next” and I’ve been skipping that song a lot lately. “The Heart Wants What it Wants” is literally the most relatable.

4. music videos

Both stars make music videos of them probably trying to heat up some sexual activity— but usually that’s Ariana. Selena sings about relationships without having to use the idea of sex all the time. Music videos using sexual activity makes me annoyed as it’s not realistic in all relationships as it is with Selena’s videos. But again, it pays off a lot. There’s nothing I and people who think like I think can really do about it. We just gotta face it everyday ;w;

5. the love

selena has been in struggles from being cheated on to her health struggles for years! she honestly deserves better and deserves more love than what she’s got. honestly all of that appreciation she needs is going to Ari and I don’t like it at all.
