:wave: my fellow Selenators! Hope everyone’s staying healthy and safe. I am! January 24th of this year was when I posted the last installment of this blog series. It’s about time for another installment! If you haven’t seen this blog series, or don’t , here’s how it works.
You choose a series and explain how Selena could e casted in that series. Today’s series is Drake & Josh. This show aired on Nickelodeon on January 11, 2004 and ended on September 15, 2007. This show was about Drake and Josh who are freshmen in high school. They become stepbrothers when they’re parents get married. Now Drake, his sister Megan, Josh and their parents live in one house. While living together, Drake and Josh get into a lot of trouble. Mostly because of Megan who is always pranking them and getting them in trouble.
Selena would of been twelve at the time when the show aired. This show would be perfect for Selena if she was casted because her character could be a friend of Megan’s who also likes to prank, or Megan herself. This role would have helped her when she auditioned and got the role of Alex Russo. Miranda Cosgrove played Megan on the show. She is one year younger than Selena. Miranda and Selena were close when they were younger.
If Selena was a guest star on the show, or played a recurring character, she and Miranda might be closer till this day. I googled Miranda before and she and Selena have a lot in common. We can only imagine what Drake & Josh would be like if Selena would be on the show, but it’s their loss. They were missing out on a wonderful opportunity.
