As one of the newest of this underrated community which is actually more than it meets an eye, I would love to share my thoughts on the gradually changing life cycle around us (not literally but still.)

:shell: :small_blue_diamond: "To the most beautiful things of the world, Time is the greatest enemy" :small_blue_diamond: :shell:

Or so everyone says...

Is it even true? I mean yea, in a way it is true but in a true sense, humans are the biggest foe to all living forces. And for that I harbours strong feelings of hatred towards humans, it is no wonder that I'm so cold hearted towards the suffering of others. But I just can't help it, after witnessing humans inhuman ways of handling animals, I barely stop myself from murdering them myself.

"The creatures straight out from fairytale..."

Do you recall the adorable looking deers and those cute little racoons from Disney movies? Sleeping beauty and Snow white and the 7 drafts to be more specific? Yes, those little companions of our dearest princesses, they are who I'm talking about.

Or...

Do you recall those pretty little fireflies from various animes and cartoons? The light bugs that you have seen in tinker bell movies?

We've seen many animals and insects, in a way, via television and there's always internet. But even wished to see the real one? Fine, I it you couldn't really check out a tiger face to face lest you want to die on the spot— but there's always fireflies, woodpeckers, kingfishers and other exotic creatures that you can see in reality.

It has always been my dream to see a real firefly, preferably at night (I have no idea if they even come out in daylight). After hearing countless tales of how my parents have actually seen fireflies in their time, I feel so jealous and sad that I couldn't see them anymore just because the place have developed and we're surrounded by giant boxes made of bricks.

Lack of lush greenery and space have shooed light bugs as well as other insects like butterflies and bees away. I want to see them so badly but I have no choice but it defeat because I know it is impossible now.

And just who is responsible for this? Freaking humans, who else. They cut all the trees to satisfy their needs, I'm aware that it is for development of the state but shouldn't they spare some areas for animals, more specially herbivorous?

My friends ask me what the hell is a firefly which clearly explains the situation that people are not exposed to these stuff simply because they've never seen one before.

I don't know why I'm so fixated about fireflies and insects right now but I love them for their beauty and I'm worried for their lessening population.

I really wish that one day I'd actually see firefly and hopefully capture their beauty at night. They are just so freaking beautiful!

"But what is left today is nothing compared to what we saw yesterday..."

I beg you, please don't make fun of it...I was full of ideas about how I was going to write and present this article but today I fudged up! I'm so sorry that you are reading this blog. I shouldn't be posting this but I don't my profile to remain blog-less.

Yeah ikr! Why people do you do this ;-; I used to hate people very much cause of this and other examples (crude animal treatments) but now it think that not every one of us is that bad. I mean, many people have no choice so to them it's a way of survival (earning money). Poverty can do much to humans.

But most of all, there wouldn't be any of those special organisations fighting for nature (WWF, Greenpeace) if all humans were evil.

True but most of those special organization are proving to be useless...anyhow, I just hope in near future there'd be improvement in fauna life cycle. I fear that even the most common of the animals would grew extinct in a century or two. :cold_sweat:

It was a great blog. You inspired me to make a blog about 1950s generation and today's world in of science and environment. Well, tecgnically they are the designers of our world, they are a little responsible for what these generations have done in of technological development, but also overpopulation of humans and destruction of natural resources. Thank you for your post :grinning:
