§I've got a taste for failure

I find it in everything

But I heard the voice inside you

Say I could be more than me

You can let go if you want to

‘Cause I’ll love you all the same

It’s a long way down from here

(Oh-oh-oh-oh)

But my heavenly side is coming to life

if you want me!§

-heavenly side by illenium

Man last week was lonely and silent, hope it will be more happy later

Hehehe here is Chapter one as how i promised ya all, it’s weird and i agreeeee

LETS START

*disclaimer:- non of the images are mine.

CH(1):- hemostasis

It all started from one day, a first year university student returned home from his physiology lecture derived from any bet of energy he had.

He entered the house like a ghost, and with no power shouted, “food! Please give me food”.

To his surprise the food was already served on the table waiting for him to consume it.

*thudd*Hoping with all his might to eat, a hard gentle punch on his head stopped him, “awwo mom why did you punch me?”

“Shoo shoo go change and wash your hands first”, his mother told him to change, with an angry face thinking to herself, ‘when will this unfulfilling kid learn manners?’

——————

Returning after changing and washing his hands, he asked with submission, “can i eat now? Please”

His mom answered while rolling her eyes cuz of his stupidity, “ yes you can”

Sparkles light up in his eyes, initiating the happiness he is feeling now, he said “ besmallah, lets dig in”

What he was eating is what i call the complete meal, red fresh meat, on top of golden colored rice particles, oh with small puride parsley and fried almonds on top.

Finally under all of this a special type of bread residue under all of this waiting for the secret ingredient to be poured on top of it, laban!

Yes, yes, yes, you are right it is the so called MANSAF!

Mm

*Disclaimer from the writer:- this next symbol (~) is to indicate a type of science

that will be used.

And i decided to talk about mansaf not because i miss my mom’s mansaf. nope am not lying at all 🥲

~nutrition~

A simple runthrough it’s nutritional info comes as follows if the serving size was 1 cup of rice, 2 cups of leban, 3 oz of meat:-

1- meat can be represented by 30g of proteins

2- the rice & bread are 10g of carbs

3- laban contain 36g of fat

4- 1300mg sodium

5- 830g of potasium

Before we continue, lemme ask you the reader some questions, (yeah i will answer them myself hehe):-

1- what is the purpose of this play?

Oh a simple question, to maintain life

2- what is the basic unit of life?

“The cell”, and maintaining life can be obtained by maintaining the cell

3- how can we maintain “the cell”?

i- Well, it is obvious to the eye that the cells of our body right now are in a constant standard state that can’t be improved

ii- so to maintain life or in other words to maintain cells, we need to maintain this standard state in it’s best shape

iii- to do that we need to maintain its environment

Ok, enough questions for now, the concept that the cells are already in their best state and this state can’t be improved is a philosophical debate for another time.

Now we have a mission in this chapter that needs to be fulfilled before the uni kid eats his first bait.

We need to find and define the environment that our cells reside in!

~anatomy and histology~

First what are the characteristics that this environment should contain?

1- it should contain everything the cells needs

2- it should engulf cells entirely, from this we can predict that it should be a fluid cuz only fluids can perfectly change their shape to engulf things

3- it should be constant in all of the body, or at least its components should be in a constant with each other

Mmm? What can it be? I feel now that am playing a hide & seek game with an unknown object.

To find it we need to know more about our bodies, more precisely what are its components.

Now anyone from the back of the stage will shout “me, me me, i know what is it”

(this message is for you my reader, still i imagine that we are on a stage and some will answer my questions, don’t forget this ok?)

He won’t even wait his turn and answer this question by one word, “ORGANS”

And he is right! Furthermore we can deduce from his answer that organs are composed from…

Yes, tissues, and a hint from me to you all there are only four types of tissues!

Only four!!? Yes and they are:-

1- epithelial tissues:- the covering

2- muscle tissues:- the movement controller

3- nervous tissues:- the communicator

4- connective tissues:- the linker

Still have doubts? Think a little bet with me, is there a difference between your hands cells and your feet’s?

Nope there is none, and what is their function? Isn’t it covering? This is epithelial tissue

Lets see what is under your skin? Adipose tissue and fascia which we will talk about latter, then muscles. Yes, only muscles.

Muscles consist of special type of cells that can contract, but they are like robots, can’t move without an order.

Nerve cells or to be more precise motor nerve cells are the responsible to convey this order, as for the other type of nerve cells that are named sensory nerve cells are responsible for our senses.

And we finished the human body, anything else from fascia adipose tissue or even bons and blood are connective tissues.

Wait a minute! What about the other organs such as for example the stomach or the esophagus?

To your surprise they are muscles, but to be honest this is not the full picture, it is way more complex than this but this is a good summary about the topic.

Hehe, hahaha, what a lovely feeling!

Are you asking why I am laughing?

Well it is simple, cuz i’m sure no one of you asked himself what really is a tissue.

Although no one is interested, I will still say it; a complex made from cells and their extracellular matrix (ECM).

Huh! ECM? And what is that?

Cells contain in itself a cytoplasm, this cytoplasm consist of an intracellular fluid and organelles or fibers made from proteins embedded in this fluid

Outside the cell, outside its cell membrane we have a counterpart for the cell’s intracellular fluid that has fibers and proteins embedded with it called the extracellular fluid, this creates the extracellular matrix.

The extracellular fluid has two parts that are similar in their composition, blood plasma & interstitial fluid but…

The extracellular fluid and the intercellular fluid differ in their contents by a huge major.

We can see from this graph the difference, most importantly in that the sodium content outside the cell is way higher that the potassium’s and vice versa

As with every new concept we should define its characteristics

The extracellular fluid:-

1- a fluid that engulf cells

2- contain everything they need

3- has a somewhat variable components, but it circulates throughout all the body i.e. it connects every part of the body indirectly

And to our amusement we finally found our lost environment, or what we should call the internal environment.

And yes internal cuz we have an external one, the external one has a super varying components that the cells of our body need to adapt to it e.g. the lumen of the gastrointestinal tract

To maintain life we need to maintain this internal environment into a constant state, this process is what we call HOMEOSTASIS!

Man rereading this makes my face red, what the hell was in my mind at that time?
