🏵Ewelyn is a cervitaur creature from a planet called Pecordra.

🏵Her kind tends to be quite timid and defensive, having built huge walls around their city as to not get harmed. The planet itself doesn't really have any dangerous inhabitants but cervitaur take safety very seriously. This is why a lot of them want to become part of the police department or any other safety authority to guarantee security, not just for their own kind.

:cherry_blossom: Due to her nature Ewelyn has a hard time being bold and extroverted. It's not like she doesn't want to socialize. No no. She simply can't. Not easily that is. She's not really practiced in interacting with people and can successfully make any conversation awkward.

:cherry_blossom: Her timid behavior mixed with her defense mechanism to stress or unexpected situations, being almost always overventilating which quite often ends with a panic attack, makes up for a really good way to get her to avoid talking to people when not completely necessary.

This makes daily interactions a living hell for the poor cervitaur. Though, over time she learned how to live with the attacks and avoid big triggers such as physical or getting startled.

:cherry_blossom: But those attacks don't change her outlook on life. Ewelyn is a rather rational, fact driven individual who doesn't rely on emotions to make her decisions. Of course sometimes her feelings will have an effect on her final thoughts but usually they only play a small role.

:cherry_blossom: Ewelyn would also claim the glass was half empty instead of half full. Meaning, she tends to see more negative than good. A pessimist in short. Her way of seeing things has been tainted by the exhaustion her panic attacks bring.

:cherry_blossom: As a coping mechanism she tends to gloss over things with a coat of sweet sarcasm, covering her own just as other people's words.

This sarcasm can often times turn into self critical thoughts and feelings that downgrade Ewelyn's own confidence.

:cherry_blossom: But she's a hard worker. Once she sets her mind on something she'll work for it until she gets it done right. She's quite determined and strong willed. Sadly this often leads her to even more exhaustion than she already has to endure and she oftentimes has dark circles under her eyes.

Job:

🏵As many cervitaurs Ewelyn always wanted to be working for the police. After an incident with a robber, who not only took her family's belongings but also damaged her left eye beyond repair, the thought of safety brought her great comfort and so she made it her goal to get a job as an officer.

🏵When she became an adult she finally got the chance to fulfill that dream. It didn't take her long to work her way up to the top as a police officer. Her ambition brought her far and not even her panic attacks can separate her from her work.

🏵Ewelyn and her 'guarding crew', how she calls it, consisting of her and two other people from the same department, go on patrols all over the galaxy to seek for small to medium crimes -considering they're too weak for high ranked villains- to set things right. They are one of many patrolling teams that go around to arrest bad guys and guarantee safety for innocent civilians on all kinds of planets.

Though her two colleagues tend to poke a little fun at Ewelyn for being such an anxious officer who's supposedly 'in charge' of the group.

For work Ewelyn wears her dark, sturdy uniform. It's as practical as it is fashionable. Thigh high socks grace her legs and her helmet protects her face as much as it sends intimidating vibes towards the bad guys. As equipment she has a simple beating stick.

2.Casual

For everyday Ewelyn just removes her working uniform. Though, she keeps the pair of gloves on that were hidden underneath her dark coat as they give her a feeling of comfort around her arms. Plus she thinks they look quite cute.
