Its been a long time...

Greetings and Salutations! AzureR9 officially back from school, and boi I am ready to get back into posts again!

And what better way to come back other than make a blog? A blog series that I've done alot in the past. That being...

SAO Video Game Highlights!

This is basically about my overall expreinces and progress throughout my play through of a certain SAO game, the first one being a Hollow Fragment Update series, as the game was so long I had time to put up multiple progress reports. And Lost Song, which was so short I just posted highlights once I finished the game. I never bothered playing SAO HR and I've never posted my highlights of SAO VS Accel World.

But today, starting off my return is...

Sword Art Online Fatal Bullet Highlights!

Like in the style of SAO Hollow Fragments, its gonna be update stuff as I play through the game! And this first part will cover all my experiences from the Remnant Wasteland portion of the game, some hi-jinks, struggles, and my first 19 hours playing the game. (Note that I started this game like a day or 2 ago)

And without further ado...

Let's start the highlights!

(As I was making this I didn't realize that this guy (Check him out) was already making his very detailed version of his experiences, this is essientially a dummed down version, maybe less specific, maybe more pictures.XD)

Custom Characters!

Character Name: AzurEdge (Player)

So yeah, I didn't base it off myself that's for sure. XD Made it a second coming of "trap"-ito but I didn't seem to work as well as I expected. :sweat_smile:

Anyways, I'm not that much keen on stat builds and such, but the stats I am focusing on are AGI/DEX, not sure if it's good for a sniper + sword set, but it seems to be working out so far.

As for playstyle, I prefer to just lay back with the sniper rifle, deploying the sentry style skill whenever possible. Still too early (and/or lazy) into the game to get the better skills. Only using the saber for hit and run or just being cocky. XD

Next up...

Character Name: Tex (Arfa-sys)

I personally like the style of clothing I gave her. I also think I've been over using blue for both characters now that I look at them while making this post. :sweat_smile:

As for why her name is Tex, well uh, stuff happened irl over the time I was gone, I'll say that much.

At first I was gonna model her after Rei Ayanami from Evangelion because the Arfa-sys reminds me of the EVA pilot suits, I was also gonna name her Rei...

...but luckily I went with the other idea, because it would make this part confusing:

Moving on, I haven't decided on a stable stat distribution and weapons, but I think a role will work well. But since it's an AI, execution might be poor. :sweat_smile:

So for , I think a INT/VIT or LUK set would work well. As for weapons, for now it's an Assualt rifle and a shotgun, may change that soon though.

Hm...what to cover first? I guess I'll go through game play experiences first of all.

So our story begins with...Blah blah blah, yada yada yada, I'm gonna gush over the character creation now.

Praise be to the heavens above this is actually some great character customization!

Sure the hair options and eyebrow options could be more distinct and unqiue, but I was already astonished when I saw that you can change the body type's specifications. Other than that, color choices are pretty good too, and an overall great customization screen! And to be perfectly honest, I love the heck out of it, and unprofessionally speaking, Ish good, it ish bery good. XD

I'm gonna be moving in chronological order now, just so that I'm at least a tad bit organized when it comes to writing this. :sweat_smile:

Next up, we get introduced to Kureha! Our childhood friend in the game, whom i think is portrayed little bit too generically, but it's too early for me to judge. She's still a very sweet character overall!

Following up on the characters, we have Itsuki, and I actually like this character despite first impressions, aka thinking he was a complete show-off jackass. But he seems nice and the typical laid back leader of a pretty powerful faction, but I still have my doubts. Again to early to judge.

From then onward I was introduced to the overall controls of the game. And I swear to God this is the first game I've ever had the trouble of properly grasping the controls, maybe because I was constantly switching weapon types or maybe because I wasn't really used to shooters or the controls in general, but seriously, I have never experienced playing through the first half of the game fumbling through the controls. It's due to that I had a hard time in the first 2 bosses especially the second one. I'll get to that later though.

After some more plot yada yada yada, encountered the second character I had to customize, sad I couldn't change the voice but oh well, and we finally meet Jesus-kun and the winner of his waifu wars. There's nothing much to say about them other than what has already been established but I do have one nit pick.

Why couldn't Kirito and Sinon keep their Original GGO outfits?

I know there's a Kirito segment later on where you get to play a similar phantom bullet arc, but I still wanted to see trap-ito and a Sinon that isn't all that revealing and blue all the time. But I guess you can't win them all. :sweat_smile:

Moving on from that we have the opening theme.

I love it. No other words needed, LiSA you have done it again.

From then onwards I was kinda free to follow along the story or goof off into the world, and I gotta say, the hub world is pretty nice but a little bit too big, fast travel is nice but loading does take a decent amount of time sometimes. The over world where you fight, pretty alright too! I got used to the controls there, but there was something bothering me the entire time I went to go fight the first boss and second boss..

HOW THE HELL DO I ADD PEOPLE IN MY PARTY?!

I'm sure most people who started to play this just glanced over the tutorial messages, and I think I did too because I never saw a tutorial message bring the point that you have to go to the friends list and add people from there. Not by finding them in Glocken. Still pretty annoyed and the main reasons why I got wrecked 5 times in a row by the first boss, that and my poor control handling. XD

Second boss came around and nightmare it was, by then I already had a lightsaber and a sniper rifle but it took around 3 tries just to beat it because the goddamn ball thingies mess up healing every time! It came to the point where as soon as I was finished healing a barrage of spiked balls just so happened to land in my area and blow up simultaneously.

I really sucked when it came to the start of the game, but near the end of the first area I got better.

Before I get to the area boss, we get introduced to another Arfa-sys and master, Zeliska and her loli, sorry, had to mention it, honestly I don't know what to think of the both of them at the moment, don't know their motives either.

So coming to the area boss, and mind you I don't grind at all, the dungeon going to the boss was harder than the boss it self. What made the dungeon hard for me was the Light and medium humanoids that kept putting bullets in your gut if you ever dare to move one step forward. That was like the most difficult part of the last dungeon of the first area

But the boss came around and couple of sniper bullets to the brain and I l finished the boss in 80 seconds.

Special Highlights

Yeah, those past few pictures as well as the pictures coming up aren't screenshots (Save of the OP pic and Itsuki because I wasn't able to record.) because I don't have spare flash drive to store the photos in to transfer here, so enjoy sub par phone pictures~ XD

So there was two moments in my playthrough that deserved their own space in this first part of the highlights, so I gave them just that, and here are the special highlights!

First of all...

You don't know how hard I screamed and laughed when I saw this. XD

Some people might not know this line, but those who do will love this reference, looks like the king of hearts is still living on in the hearts of some people 'till this day. XD

Secondly...

I just find the sweet interaction with the MC and Yuuki very sweet and heart warming, and the CG just amplifes that. The conversation was very sweet and I loved every moment of it, and who could say no to that cute of a face? Also, I may be pampering Yuuki a little bit too much, but that because she's best girl in my opinion, second to Argo and Sinon. :sweat_smile:

It just feels so surreal that I came back when I started doing my first ever post here, maybe even sooner than that. But this time I actually have people I know and trust. And without the hell that was SAOA V1. :sweat_smile:

For the people who don't recognize me, it's fine, I like being the unacknowledged one as it gives the certain air of mystery behind it. Like that would work. XD And for the people who do recognize me, good on you for recognizing a person who is very antisocial. XD

Anyways, this is just that start of the multitude of posts I will be doing during my summer break (Over in my country summer break is from March to June), so I hope you look forward to Future posts and the revival of my old project. Or not, it's fine, like I said being unacknowledged has its perks.

Also, sorry if the post seemed off at times? I think, I dunno, it's been a long time since I wrote something and I'm quite rusty at making decent posts. :sweat_smile:
