Couple more tips for Aincrad Floor Clearing Event to expand on Pina's post from yesterday

First off, thank you Pina for compiling all the information regarding the event and giving your thoughts. If you havent read Pina's post, its in the front page or you can just click here. Though there are a couple of stuff I want to add to that post that might make your job a whole lot easier to plan the use of characters or will probably make you realize if you should be bothering at all and might save you precious time.

I wont be talking about things that have been mentioned by Pina to save time.

So let's start with the latter point to save you some time.

* You need 4 very decent 4* characters and that is the bare minimum requirement for Floors after 20.

As mentioned in the OP by Pina, each Floor Block consists of 20 Floors and these are divided to 8 individual missions. Each character can do a mission 2 times, provided the character doesnt die during a mission. That means with 4 characters, you can tackle all 8 missions. If you dont have at least 4 decent character it is going to be near impossible after Floor 20. Characters like Yuna, FD Kirito and Camisole Asuna will become absolutely useless, as well as any other low tier character. And this brings us to our next point.

* If you have 4 of the OS/Alicization Banners, you can probably solo each mission with a single character. (If you have ninja or other good 4* chars, keep reading, point 4 will address those)

Characters from OS/Alicization banners have auto heal on their SS3, so with a decent use of SS3 timing, each mission is easily Soloable with a single one of these characters, especially if you manage to get weakness advantage. Just use an SS3 and never use it again untill HP regen wears off. Use that time to do auto attacks to regain precious mana. Your SS3 will stagger your enemies so it'll be even easier. Make sure to focus on dodge but as long as you dont get excessive damage, your auto heal will take care of it.

And related to this point:

*Do not aim for an S rank and do not try to go crazy to save time!

For this event, all I'm going to say is, screw those sweet MDs, at least initially. Your main goal should be to clear Floor 100, to get 2 Asuna R4 equips which is the max count for this event and to get the Shadowy Castle title, which will grant your party a universal 3% attack bonus, whereever you go (the attack bonus effects will be added to the game after the current witch ranking event ends). MDs are always salvageable through other means, but if you can't get that 3% attack boost, it is gone and we do not know when such a title with a bonus will ever return.

Go for MD's and S Ranks only after clearing Floor 100 or after you have given up, but with decent characters, you do not need to give up, just be patient.

*If you dont have all OS and Alicization characters, do not worry, good characters are still good characters, even if they do not have self healing.

There are plenty of great characters from other Banners that can hold their own. Ninja comes to mind because I have a Ninja Asuna, but other banners have gems as well. With them, either have your Dodge/Parry game on point so you dont get any damage, or as Pina mentioned, bring a healer. These are rod characters and they do not have to be 4*, 3*rod characters work just as fine, as long as you have their attack stat levelled up since healing is dependant on attack stat.

*If you dont have many self healing characters, use non-healing chars on 2 Floor missions.

If you havent realized, Floors X1-X3 and X6-X8 consist of three Floors you have to clear and Floors X4-5 and X9-0 consist of two Floors, one of which is a boss. There are two reasons why I am suggesting this, despite the overall belief that Bosses are "harder", they are not. First off, you only have 2 Floors you need to beat, which is a great advantage compared to clearing 3 Floors, considering you will have less stages to take damage. Second, it is much easier to keep track of a single bosses attacks, than a combination of 2 Golems and 3 Reptiles, who all have different attacks and attack timings. Just keep an eye on the boss, know which movement results in which attack and either dodge or parry accordingly. Once again, do not take risks to be the hero, you are limited by your health, if you die taking a risk, you will move back so stand your ground and go for guaranteed attacks instead of risky ones.

Those are all the things I wanted to mention that I hope will help you towards reaching and clearing Floor 100.

I have tips against bosses as well, but I'll save those for a later post, I know everybodys having serious trouble against that Scythe/reaper boss with its one hit kill satellite attack, dont worry, I have things to say about it too.

And hopefully, Pina doesnt mind me using his gif for this post, but it's just beautiful and perfect for these kind of posts.
