I don't understand why people thought this was a good idea but it seems there is a demand for it. So this guide will be about creating an Edionan (Makaiju Alien) Character based around the headcanons a few others and I have made. If you disagree with the headcanons then there is no pressure for you to follow this guide, the species is left up to interpretation and you are free to create your own. But if you want to use the headcanons, here is what you should know.

Naming Themes
In the filler arc and movie, we are given three charterers to work with. Ail, An and Fiore. The first two's name stems from a pun on the word "Alien" signifying their extraterrestrial origin. The other example is Fiore, who's name means "Flower" in the Italian Language. So from this I gathered that these would probably give an example of the species naming conventions.
So when naming your Edionan, you have a bit of a choice towards the wordplay you wish to use. I personally feel the Alien Occult wordplay may be a bit less used as compared to plants, with the near limitless number of plants as well as multiple languages to translate your plant name into, you should be able to find a name appropriate for them in this catagory. But do not let this discourage you from using the other wordplay if you desire so.
Examples
"Lota" (Pun on Lotus)
"Fleur" (French for Flower)
"Anfisa" (Russian for Flower)
"Ruzen" (Pun from Czech for Rose)
"Terres" (Play on Extraterrestrial)
You may ask, do they have Surnames? My personal take on it is that they do not have Surnames, but if you wish yours to have one, I suggest pulling from the same name themes as above.
Perhaps they are disguising themselves as human? What do I call them in that form? First consider where they would be hiding first? If Japan, then you'll probably want to use a Japanese name for them to blend in better. How about naming themes?
For Faun's human disguise, I chose the name "Ren" which is a gender neutral name in both Chinese and Japanese meaning Lotus. Gladi's human name is "Isamu Mori" the Mori part meaning Forest in Japanese.
If you want further help on human disguise names in Japanese, I suggest consulting the Hanakatoba or Japan's Language of Flowers. This may help you find a name that also matches their personality.

The visual guide above should offer some idea on what is typically expected of Edionans in both appearence and dress. But if you wish for me to break down this reference a bit more I shall.
Edionans in appearance are typically slender and lithe, some may describe them as a bit more effeminate like in both sexes. Each sex has long eyelashes that do bring out the more feminine qualities a bit. You could describe most Edionan men as being under the "Pretty Boy" catagory.
Edionans traditionally have their hair in longer hair styles, this applies to both men as well as women. They are also an easy way to tell the sexes apart with female most often having vibrant hair on the warm side of the color spectrum and men having vibrant hair on the cooler side of the spectrum. The trademake highlights in their hair pull from the spectrum of the opposite sex. It may be possible that there are exceptions to this, but they would be rare. Their Eye Color is often an even more vibrant version of their primary Hair Color.
Most Edionans dress in a similar manner, with full body suits that cover most of their forms and a vest to go over top. The vests and body suits are often gilded with golden plant like designs, the vine variant is the most popular. The colors of the vest and suit are usually different, and usually fall under the same color pallete as their sex. Females are usually seen with some sort of heel, though this isn't required.
Jewelery is not an uncommon thing, with Edionans often decorating themselves with jewels upon their chests, decorative earrings, and perhaps some jewelry weaved into their hair as well. Do not be afraid to accessorize your Edionan.

And that's part 1 of the #EdionanGuide series. I hope to bring a part 2 to you soon. However I feel it's better to work on this in bursts than just all at once. I hope you understand. Have a nice day!
