An Accident Creation, part 6

Exhaustion And Comfort (fluff??)

Jamie finished his meal and yawned.

"I thank myself.", He stated, standing up and putting the dishes in the dishwasher.

"Thiara and Tiara, do you wanna do something before bedtime?", Jamie asked walking to the living room.

The kids looked at each other, being silent. Jamie knew they were talking telepathically to each other since it was their ability as twins.

They then looked up at Jamie. "A movie!"

"So the usual then, what movie would you like to watch?", Jamie asked, smiling.

The kids stood up and went to see the different option of movies as Jamie cleaned after them of what they were doing.

After a minute or two, the kids came back with a movie. "This one!"

"Ooh! “Show And Tell”, huh? It's your favourite, isn't it?", Jamie questioned, knowing the answer well enough.

"Yeah!", They exclaimed.

Jamie chuckled. "Well, get comfy then."

As Thiara and Tiara went to sit down on the couch leaving space between them for Jamie, Jamie set the movie ready. He returned to the couch once the movie was playing.

Jamie read the subtitles and his twins listened as they watched. The movie was about a boy who was shy to show his talent to director of his job, he was part of a circus. He was comfortable to show his talent to his closest friends and they were trying to encourage the boy to introduce the talent to the director when he finally does, he notices that he has a rival and the competition is on, but in the end the boy's rival turns out to be a traitor which he had caused a lot of problems along the way, he was fired and the boy continued to live at the circus.

"Alright, isn't it time for bed now?", Jamie asked after the movie ended, yawning.

The kids nodded and hugged and kissed Jamie saying goodnight as they went to their room.

"Goodnight, my little sunshines.", Jamie stretched.

Jamie stood up and turned off the TV and the VHS player. He looked at the clock. "How long are you there honey..?", Jamie thought, he was starting to get a little worried.

"Well, I'll get into more comfortable clothing now, she'll come when she'll come.", Jamie walked upstairs and to his and his wife's shared room and changed from his regular clothes to a sleepwear and returned downstairs.

"Maybe I should check on Karma.. and see how he's holding up.. and maybe tell him, I'll be taking him with me to the lab.. just maybe..", he thought and yawned again. Jamie shook his head. "Not now, tomorrow morning, too tired."

Jamie decided to stay up for his wife, waiting for her to come home.

He paced around between the kitchen and the common room for an hour until he heard the door creek open, he walked over and saw his wife.

"Welcome, long day?", Jamie asked, opening his arms a bit.

Flora nodded, she was exhausted and tired. "Very much.. there was a lot of paperwork I had to do and plus all the patients I had to take care, there was one surgery as well.."

Flora walked over to Jamie and hugged him and Jamie embraced her. "Being a nurse seem rough, but you're home now.", He said, kissing Flora's head.

"Mhm..", Flora hummed into Jamie's chest.

"The children are already asleep and there's still food for you.", Jamie informed.

Flora didn't say anything, but nodded. Jamie rubbed her head softly and escorted her into the kitchen and warmed her food efficiently with fire magic. He gave the food to Flora.

"Your shift was longer than usual.. really long.. it kinda had me worried there.", Jamie stated.

"O-oh I'm sorry, I probably should've have texted you that I'll be coming home late.", Flora apologized.

"You don't have to apologize, I understand.", Jamie reassured. "After you're done eating we can go to sleep."

Flora started eating. "Mmhm.. but how did your research went?"

"We found out what kind of things the soul needs and some other pretty interesting things about the soul itself, Haley said we'll definitely make the soul tomorrow.", He said.

"I see, whose soul did you find it out?", Flora asked.

"Mine.", Jamie simply answered.

Flora nodded softly. "Did you feel any strange?"

"Yeah, I did at first because Haley had to have a tube kind of thing touch my soul and then an x-ray kind of thing.", Jamie said, scratching back of his head.

"Mhm..", Flora nodded as she was soon enough done.

Jamie yawned. "Well, when I got here the kids wanted to watch a movie before bedtime."

"Did they eat?", Flora asked immediately.

"Of course they did, I made the food before the movie.", Jamie said.

"Alright, what movie did you watch?", Flora stood up and put the dishes to the dishwasher.

"Show And Tell, their favourite.", Jamie answered as he stood up as well.

"Hm, they've watched it a lot lately.", Flora walked to Jamie and hugged him again.

"Yeah, that's why I'm assuming it's their favourite.", Jamie then picked Flora up in brides style and carried Flora to their bedroom and placed on the edge of the bed.

Flora stood up and changed from her work outfit to the sleepwear as well as Jamie went to lay down on the bed. Flora shortly after laid next to him and they cuddled up to each other.

Jamie held Flora gently in his arms and started softly kissing her head and down to her neck and cheeks.

They cuddled, kissed each other and whispered soft tender things until they both fell asleep.

Ah another part done :)

It's good to have some soft and calm moments than everything in action, something happening bad or something else, this is kinda refreshing (and yes I'm unintentionally making this story longer than what I said I would, oopsie) welpie I hope you don't mind, babai~
