Everyone here has a soulmate, they all know that it's a fact of life. Though what they don't know is that there is also magic in the world. Yep Witches, Wiccans, Warlocks, Etc. They're all real. Everyone is born with the name of their soulmate tattooed on their wrist - the ink is black to start out with - once you meet your soulmate it turns to their exact eye color.
Muse A was self-teaching themselves magic. They kept it secret from their friends and family, afraid of how they would react. They were mostly just messing with a small magic such as sigils. They didn't really know anything else or how to learn.
Muse B's parents were High Priest and Priestess of a Wiccan/Witch Coven. Until they were killed, Muse B's parents had no will which meant Muse B went into the foster system. He ended up having to move to a new town. A town where he meets Muse A at a witchcraft store.
