The criminal has taken me to their hiding place, along with five other persons. They have offered all of us a place to stay here, a large house in the middle of what seems to be a thick forest with no sign of human life around. They did not allow us to know our whereabouts, as we were blindfolded and taken to this place in a cab when we signed the contract. Our vision was obscured, thus it is impossible to give directions to this place.

Tonight we were gathered in the living room and told that we would have the pleasure of exacting revenge on someone who has wronged us in our past. The hook is that they promise there will be no loose ends, no matter how heinous the crime.

I have observed that all six of us seem to be ability s of sorts. They state the reason is that they find we may be useful in their ranks. Essentially, we have been recruited to them just as I deducted at the agency.

When asked about their motivation they revealed they wished to "create a better society with equality for all". They claimed that the only people they wish to harm are those who harm others. They want to rid the world of evil by conquering them with an equal evil.

I can't help but feel as though I almost agree with them. It stings to say it, but it is true. At the same time, I feel as though as a detective it is my responsibility to stop this criminal mastermind before all hell breaks loose.

My only question is… is a crime still heinous if committed for the greater good?

There exist people in the world who possess special abilities, oftentimes scary or paranormal. These persons must make the decision of whether to use these abilities for right or wrong. It's something only spoken about in whispers. A so-called "myth" that the kids around town spread for laughs and fun. But it's not just a myth, it's real.

Recently a criminal dubbed by the public as "𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙋𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙤𝙢'' has wreaked havoc in the city of Jacksonville Florida. Crimes claimed by the criminal have been popping up all over the place, day and night. The Phantom publicly claims that these crimes are "𝙩𝙤 𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙖 𝙗𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙨𝙤𝙘𝙞𝙚𝙩𝙮". The victims of these crimes are always random, with little connection, and the crimes have no loose ends; the perfect crime as people call it. It is assumed that these crimes are committed by a single person, however they are incorrect.

The Phantom seeks to create a better society by eliminating those who are crude and evil, those who have wronged others. That is why he has welcomed a group of troubled and wretchedly wronged souls to rid the world of those who abuse others, but first and foremost each follower of The Phantom acquires the chance to punish the person who has wronged them most without any loose ends on the crime. How they do this? That is where the special abilities come into play.

It is said that this illusive individual has the paranormal ability to create illusions or erase memory. Whatever it is, it's scary. And undeniably incredible.

A detective agency has risen up to take down The Phantom. They are an illusive agency said to be filled with these ability s. Shrouded in mystery it is questioned whether it even exists. But the government knows. It's where they go when they can't crack a case try after try.

And this time is no exception.

They are willing to stop at nothing to defeat this criminal mastermind. Lucky for them one of their detectives has received the mysterious invitation that the Phantom has sent to five other ability s. The catch? Each person invited has a connection to the Phantom in some way. Reluctantly, the detective accepted, and is now acting as a spy for the agency. Coincidentally, the Phantom isn't far behind.

So, will the heroic detectives come out on top while the criminals see justice for their deeds, or will hell come to the surface all in the name of cleansing the earth?

They founded the Agency and act as its President. Everything is organized and orchestrated by them with the help of the Director. They are a recluse and rarely appear outside of their office. Some have never even seen the man. Oftentimes he communicates with the detectives through telepathy, both in and out of the office.

The leading man in the case. They were approached by the Agency President to lead the case of the Phantom. They are very experienced in their job and have been a part of the agency for a long while. Rumor has it they were in the police force before ing the agency, but was discharged for an unknown reason.

Young and naive, the rookie is just excited to be here. They have ired the agency from a young age–Its always been a dream to . The case seems scary at times, but they're certain the agency will handle it! They are the newest member to officially , and thus haven't been exposed to the horrors of it all yet. Primarily they stay with The Lead Investigator or any other member to learn from them.

Oftentimes they are sent out with the others during missions that might be dangerous. Rumor has it that they have connections to some kind of criminal organization, but they have never confirmed that themselves.

A child prodigy, a deductive genius, or perhaps to some a weirdo. The Genius was only a teenager when the agency was founded. They were taken in by the President and have been here ever since. They are incredibly deductive and are a valuable member of the team. However, they seldom do paperwork or anything other than drift around the office and screw off.

No one knows when this person showed up, nor much about them. Their past is shrouded in mystery and sudden, strange, comments about their life. They may seem eccentric or peculiar at times, but they are by far one of the best to be known in their field.

Their title is self-explanatory. This person knows all about technology. They can hack, by, or do anything else the agency needs. They work on call as the agency needs, but has been pried from their house recently to come into the building for a meeting on the current case.

The most experienced person in the building besides the President themself, the Undercover Investigator has been working here since not long after the agency was founded. As the name suggests, they specialize in going undercover and blending in. This person also have been known to do much of the agency's dirty work, having been jaded by their time here. They would have been promoted to Director long ago, but they refuse any time the notion is made by the President.

They know anyone and everyone around town, and even have connections to a few illegal operations. Typically they only work for the agency on call in short durations, but this time they've been dragged along against their will after being called in for just the meeting. They may not have even complied if it wasn't for the handsome sum of money being offered.

They do the real crime. It's not just gunshots and hits, that's just what they're most good at. They will infiltrate opposing forces, snipe criminals, steal. The Sniper is basically the acting force of the operation. However recently they've been having second thoughts about ing the Phantom.

They act as almost a secretary or a go-boy for them and the Right Hand. But ultimately, they are disposable. The pawn has had personal relations with the Phantom and Right Hand for a long while and considers them like family... But do they feel the same way?
