The Tale of Calbesto

Calbesto was a beautiful island, isolated from

the rest of the world. To its inhabitants,

Calbesto was the whole world. The land was

ruled by a great king, but the people's loyalty

was to the temple located in the center of the

island. The temple was home to what people

could only describe as vessels of gods; humans

who had supernatural abilities. Humans who

were chosen by the gods. Yet, those humans

served the king of Calbesto.

The dwellers of the temple include the vessels,

their attendants, and the head priest who

managed their lives. The vessels would come to

the temple whenever their powers manifested

to learn about who their patron god might be,

and to train their powers in a safe

environment. That's where they would live

until their very last days.

Group Plot

────────────────────

The temple was a place of people of influence,

and they knew it. They were the closest to

nobles that nobles could get. This created

tension between the temple and the King and

triggered a silent war of politics. The temple

was torn apart on the inside. Some ed

the king, others wanted a new ruler, and

others wanted the power in the hands of the

people.

At the same time, the people were questioning

the concept of the temple. Keeping the vessels

in its hold was keeping the hard and soft

powers under their control. A group of rebels

was forming with the mission to bring the

temple down and dissolve it, and take the

King down with it. The fate of the vessels would

be up to their loyalty; either to the people or

the temple.

One on One Plot

Argan is the God of Fire and Warfare. His

followers acted as a special unit that carried

out missions at the king's disposal, and their

leader was Muse A, none other than the vessel

of Argan himself. For the past few months,

rumors of rebels have spread through Calbesto,

and it was the job of Argan's warriors to clean

up the mess. However, their numbers fell after

each mission. The King knew that he couldn't

lose his special unit to the rebels, and so he

came to a decision that Muse A did not

anticipate. The vessel of the goddess Kala

would be ing Argan's warriors on their

missions.

Kala was the goddess of healing. Her vessel,

Muse B, could heal people with a simple touch.

The King saw her powers as fitting to

the warriors, and so he made the decision.

Muse B was someone who had stayed in the

temple all the time, too precious to risk, but the

king's desperation was obvious. Muse A showed

his disapproval, but the decision was

non-negotiable.

Muse B wasn't exactly thrilled either, but she accepted the King's decision and ed the warriors. Muse A was very cold to her. He barely tolerated her existence. No matter what she tried to do, he shut her out, and she didn't understand why.

Muse A didn't want to deal with her, or her

lack of experience in the world. Someone like

her was dangerous for his plans with the

rebellion. She was a willing puppet of the

temple. He needed to get the King to tale back

his decision before it got complicated.

I've been wanting to do this plot for a while,

and I'm excited to finally put it out in the

world. I'd love to have this be a long-term

group roleplay if possible, as I miss group rps a

lot! I'm seeing if I'll be able to get enough

people for it and where we would take it. If

you're interested in the group roleplay, please

tell me in the comments or send me a pm. I'd

love to have at least one person play the King,

but I'll play him if no one signs up. I want it to

be a fun rp filled with amazing character

dynamics. Other characters to be played are

the head priest of the temple, vessels, and

rebels. If you'll play a vessel, you can choose

their powers and what their patron god is like!

As for the one on one plot, I was thinking it

could include a romance plot between Muse A

and Muse B along with the rebellion plot. I'd

prefer to play Muse B. I'm also fairly excited

for this one. I'm just looking to get back into

roleplay. Just pm me if you're interested so we
