𖧷 Her hand had begun to hurt by this point from

𖧷 all the writing she'd been doing. The scratching

𖧷 of the pencil against the paper filling the otherwise

𖧷 silent room. There were faint bags under her eyes

𖧷 and pictures lining the walls. Some were blurry, but

𖧷 others were nearly professional looking. They were

𖧷 all of only one person. It was a man who was never

𖧷 looking directly at the camera. He seemed unaware

𖧷 that they were even being taken. The room was quite

𖧷 surprisingly clean aside from the walls and desk she

𖧷 was currently sitting at. Notebooks, photos, letters,

𖧷 and all sorts of schedules littering the surface of it.

𖧷 Her brown eyes seemed focused on the information

𖧷 she was writing down. Her teeth sinking into the tip

𖧷 of her thumb as her eyebrows scrunched in thought.

𖧷 Blood slipped from the newly opened wound but in

𖧷 the end she didn't bat an eye to the damage. The

𖧷 pencil being twirled around between the fingers of

𖧷 her other hand. The paper was covered with all kinds

𖧷 of things. Names, dates, places, relationships, foods.

𖧷 It seemed to be documentation of things she knew.

𖧷 They all seemed to pertain to the man in the photos.

𖧷 She tapped the eraser of the pencil against the hard

𖧷 wood of the desk and soon let her head fall back.

𖧷 Her eyes losing focus as she stared up at the ceiling.

𖧷 It had been six years. That was when her eyes first

𖧷 met his. The day she found herself wanting him. She

𖧷 hadn't even realized how bad it had gotten at first

𖧷 it had only started out as wanting to learn more. It

𖧷 clearly didn't stop there though. Her room alone

𖧷 was proof of that. Rather than fighting herself for

𖧷 reclaiming her sanity, she let go, let it consume her

𖧷 entirely. She had no intention of stopping herself.

𖧷 Not anymore anyway. Why should she? It felt so good.

𖧷 So good to let herself give in to the obsession she

𖧷 had with him. To watch over him even when he likely

𖧷 believed himself to be alone. Learning everything

𖧷 there was to know about him. She probably knew

𖧷 more than his closest family. That was what it truly

𖧷 meant to love somebody was it not? Showing how

𖧷 dedicated she was to the man who didn't even know

𖧷 her first name. That was okay to her, he didn't need

𖧷 to know, knowing everything was her job not his.

𖧷 The thought made her giggle as she leaned back

𖧷 in the chair and stretched her arms up over her head.

𖧷 The sleeves of her oversized sweater slipping down

𖧷 and revealing her arms. There was a name tattooed

𖧷 on her forearm. It was likely his. The one who didn't

𖧷 know her. It was as her mind wandered about him

𖧷 that an idea finally came to her mind. She knew it

𖧷 all, his schedule, his family, his job, his hobbies, and

𖧷 even where he made all his appointments. He was

𖧷 so vulnerable to her and never even knew it. Why,

𖧷 if she could do it, anyone could do it. She didn't

𖧷 like that idea. She wanted to be the only one to be

𖧷 so “close” to him, she had to protect him, after all

𖧷 that's what loving someone meant. She would be

𖧷 the one to do that. The silence hung heavy in the

𖧷 room as it gradually seemed to grow darker with

𖧷 the presence of another goal beginning to form

𖧷 in her mind. It was so simple that she hadn't even

𖧷 thought about it before. Her arms fell down into her

𖧷 lap as her eyes gradually widened with realization.

𖧷 She could just bring him here, to her home, and let

𖧷 him stay with her. 𝙋𝙚𝙧𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙡𝙮. Then he would be

𖧷 with her all the time. That was the best outcome.

ʚ          It was that simple realization that caused

ʚ          her to begin planning everything out. How

ʚ          she would go about bringing him to her. It

ʚ          was all written out so quickly. You'd think

ʚ          she had thought about it beforehand; and

ʚ          well you wouldn't be entirely wrong for that

ʚ          she had considered it at least once before.

ʚ          The only issue with her plan beforehand had

ʚ          been that she didn't know as much about him.

ʚ          That wasn't an issue now, no, certainly not.

ʚ          she knew everything there was to know now.

ʚ          That included how he'd react to such a situation.

ʚ          It meant she would be able to plan accordingly.

ʚ          She giggled to herself as she wrote down her

ʚ          little plan step-by-step, as well as everything

ʚ          she would need for it all. There were some

ʚ          items she wouldn't be able to just buy without

ʚ          getting odd looks, or drawing attention, so she

ʚ          opted to make them herself. You'd be a little

ʚ          surprised how easy it is to make something

ʚ          capable of knocking someone out. It only

ʚ          took a few days to perfect it and even less to

ʚ          find an adequate test subject to test it out on.

ʚ          It was important to make sure something so

ʚ          important went off without any issues. She

ʚ          wanted nothing but the best since she was

ʚ          doing this all for him. Everything she did was

ʚ          always for him. He was the most important

ʚ          being in existence to her. It's because of that

ʚ          that she had to keep him to herself now. Surely

ʚ          others would see such a splendid person and

ʚ          try to take them away from her. She hadn't

ʚ          even realized how angry she was until she felt

ʚ          the pulse beneath her fingers beginning to

ʚ          soften until it eventually stopped all together.

ʚ          Her angry expression quickly softened as she

ʚ          looked down to her, now deceased, subject.

ʚ          She could only bring herself to blink and tilt

ʚ          her head in response. It was as though she

ʚ          didn't even the fact that she'd taken

ʚ          a life just then. The flickering lights of the old

ʚ          basement casting an eerie glow on her usually

ʚ          soft and sweet features. The curly bangs framing

ʚ          her face as she pulled her hand away from the

ʚ          strangers throat. There was a flicker of pure

ʚ          disgust for a moment. Her eyes trailing to her

ʚ          hand as she wiped it on her sweater. She had

ʚ          no particular worries about the corpse. One

ʚ          was because she already planned for this-

ʚ          the second was because she didn't leave any

ʚ          prints. How did she know? She burned them off.

ʚ          She didn't have any fingerprints to leave.

ʚ          With a hum of delight, she pushed herself off

ʚ          the body and clasped her hands together. It

ʚ          would definitely work. Over the span of two

ʚ          weeks she had managed to get everything

ʚ          she knew she would need. That included a

ʚ          highly concentrated mixture of herbs that

ʚ          she had made. It was an elixir of sorts. One

ʚ          that made the mind more susceptible to

ʚ          obeying. It made it hard for someone to think

ʚ          for themselves. She didn't want to use it, she

ʚ          liked him the way he was, but if he was too

ʚ          difficult then- well. She wouldn't have any

ʚ          other option. It was up to him really.

                      𖧷 It was Monday, the 17th, 09:35am

𖧷 that she decided to carry out her plan.

𖧷 She knew he'd be leaving for work and

𖧷 that he often went out by himself. Due

𖧷 to this, it was the best time to do it. She

𖧷 hid around the back of the building and

𖧷 waited for him to head there. The place

𖧷 was a shabby wasteland. It was some

𖧷 filthy restaurant that didn't even have

𖧷 security cameras. The owner was greedy

𖧷 and hardly paid his employees as it was

𖧷 so she wasn't worried about being seen.

𖧷 Once he had arrived, everything was finally

𖧷 set into motion. She was excited to see

𖧷 him up close again. It felt like it was a

𖧷 dream. His confused expression was just

𖧷 adorable- and for a moment- she nearly

𖧷 forgot why she was even there. It was him

𖧷 calling out to her that brought her back.

𖧷 The confused questioning grounding her

𖧷 in reality as he cautiously moved closer to

𖧷 her. She could tell by his body language

𖧷 that he was on his guard and cautious

𖧷 of her. She adored it, her heart throbbing

𖧷 in her ears with joy, she was sure if he was

𖧷 any closer he'd be able to hear it. That

𖧷 wouldn't do, not yet, she needed to be

𖧷 patient and follow her plan. If she got

𖧷 too greedy it would ruin everything and

𖧷 she couldn't have that happening. She

𖧷 came up with a lie, someone was out and

𖧷 following her, she was scared and had been

𖧷 planning on hiding in the building whenever

𖧷 he showed up. The story seemed to work

𖧷 and she could see his body relax.

𖧷 He was so cute and gullible, it's a good

𖧷 thing she was there to protect him. It would

𖧷 have been so easy to kill him if she were

𖧷 there for anything evil. He was too trusting.

𖧷 The breeze picked up slightly and caused

𖧷 him to shiver, how cute, she had to keep

𖧷 up the act though. He offered to call

𖧷 someone and she declined. There was

𖧷 nobody who would come for her even if

𖧷 she hadn't been lying. She didn't have people

𖧷 close to her anymore anyway. She did that

𖧷 to herself though and couldn't blame anyone

𖧷 else, even she knew that. He finally opted

𖧷 to let her hide in the building for a short while

𖧷 which she was oh-so-grateful for. There

𖧷 wasn't anyone else there yet, nobody who

𖧷 would intervene anyway. One woman was

𖧷 there but she was alwas ed out on one

𖧷 drug or another. She wouldn't wake up even

𖧷 if he called out to her for help. It's why this

𖧷 was such a golden opportunity. Once they

𖧷 were finally in the building, and his back was

𖧷 to her, she smiled warmly. Her hand slid

𖧷 into her sleeve and grabbed ahold of a thin

𖧷 needle with a pale blue liquid inside it.

𖧷 She made sure all the air was pushed out

𖧷 before finally reaching up and pushing it

𖧷 into his neck. He flinched in pain but didn't

𖧷 react fast enough to stop her. The full

𖧷 thing being emptied by the time he finally

𖧷 grabbed her wrist. It didn't matter how

𖧷 strong, muscular, or determined he

𖧷 was, she ensured it was fast acting, it

𖧷 was only a matter of seconds before he

𖧷 began to falter. His body swaying and his

𖧷 vision growing darker. She watched as he

𖧷 finally collapsed into her arms, right where

𖧷 he belonged. She had nearly fallen under

𖧷 his weight but managed to steady herself

𖧷 and sit herself on the ground. His head in

𖧷 her lap while she ran her fingers through

𖧷 his hair. Her expression nothing short of

𖧷 pure adoration and excitement to finally

𖧷 have everything going her way. She truly

𖧷 was insanely lucky, that and she planned

𖧷 this all out, it paid off in the end. The bruise

𖧷 now wrapped around her hand and wrist

𖧷 was only a reward. That's how she saw it

𖧷 anyway. Once a few minutes ed she

𖧷 adjusted him to lay on the floor fully.

𖧷 She stood up and looked around with a

𖧷 soft hum. She couldn't realistically carry

𖧷 him all the way out to the car given her

𖧷 height and lacking in muscle. She did

𖧷 eventually find something though, it was

𖧷 a “tubby wheel thing” or so she called it.

𖧷 Something they used to transport boxes.

𖧷 There was a brief struggle as she pushed

𖧷 him into it and covered the top with a tarp

𖧷 that was in the back room. She then rolled

𖧷 it out to his car and gave the area a once

𖧷 over before finally struggling to put him in

𖧷 the back seat of the car. The tint was darker

𖧷 on the back windows and they had covers

𖧷 so nobody would be able to see him inside.

𖧷 She put everything back in its proper place

𖧷 within the building once she was done.

𖧷 She even removed the data of him arriving

𖧷 for his shift from the computers. It was

𖧷 a little surpsing to her that the place even

𖧷 had something that “high end”..for them.

Whenever he did finally wake up, she was there.    ɞ

Her legs thrown over the arm of a recliner, leaned ɞ

to the side so she was resting against the back,    ɞ

phone in her hands. She did notice him awake, it ɞ

just didn't seem like she intended to say anything ɞ

not immediately anyway. Once she had finished   ɞ

typing whatever she had been writing she finally ɞ

looked over to him. She tossed the phone to the ɞ

floor and slid from the recliner. He seemed like    ɞ

he was still lost in a bit of a daze, but he was up. ɞ

She never spoke, not yet, instead she gently took ɞ

his face into her hands and cupped his cheeks. It ɞ

was reality, he was there, how exciting. She had   ɞ

never been this happy before. It was everything   ɞ

she could have ever asked for right before her.     ɞ

He flinched at the touch and tried to pull away- it ɞ

was just as cute as everything else he did. To her. ɞ

He could struggle all he wanted and never get out ɞ

of those restraints, of that she was sure, even if he ɞ

hated her she didn't mind- maybe..but that too was ɞ

exciting. So long as his feelings were aimed her-     ɞ

could accept them all. Her eyes holding pure love   ɞ

for the man in front of her while his held fear of her. ɞ

That was okay though. She didn't mind, he could be ɞ

taught to lover her if it didn't eventually come to him ɞ

naturally. She loved him so much she hated him to   ɞ

some degree. He plagued her every thought and it   ɞ

was his fault she was like this. He should take the    ɞ

responsibility for it shouldn't he. There was silence   ɞ

as she slowly pulled the tape off of his mouth and   ɞ

held a finger to her lips. Hurting him was the nothing ɞ

she wanted to do. The thought alone made her sad. ɞ

Even with that being the case,, she'd do whatever     ɞ

was needed. The man seemed to understand, after ɞ

all, in his mind she was completely insane. Not an    ɞ

incorrect assessment but she'd likely deny the claim ɞ

since she didn't think she was crazy at all. She tilted ɞ

her head after a moment and smiled, finally opening ɞ

her mouth to speak for the first time. Not to him, in ɞ

general, it had been months since she last spoke a   ɞ

word overall. She didn't why she decided ɞ

to stop in the first place but it didn't matter now.       ɞ

"You must be surprised, but it's not unexpected. I've ɞ

been watching you for...four, five, six? Yes. Six years. ɞ

you don't me. I know it. Your eyes say so. ɞ

but, but, buuut I you. I know everything in ɞ

relation to you. Even things you don't know." She let ɞ

out a quiet hum and turned the swivel chair he was ɞ

bound to. With him now facing the metal table she ɞ

moved past him and walked over to it slowly. She   ɞ

picked up a small book and opened it while making ɞ

her way back over to him. She soon flipped it and    ɞ

it was filled with more pictures of him, some of him ɞ

sleeping while others were of him working or in his ɞ

room playing games. His face only twisted further ɞ

with fear which caused her to giggle softly. She     ɞ

couldn't help it. Why? Despite the fear he remained ɞ

quiet like she told him to. She got it in her head that ɞ

he didn't actually mind the situation and was just     ɞ

pretending to be scared to amuse her or something. ɞ

  "You know. . . I'm glad, I thought you'd never want to ɞ

be with me. I always watched and protected you but ɞ

you never paid me any mind before. To have you      ɞ

here and looking at only me? I'm overjoyed. It's like ɞ

a dream. Had I known you liked me too I'd havee     ɞ

done this sooner. You should be more honest." She ɞ

scolded and followed it with a quiet laugh. Despite ɞ

her words, the restraints remained, and this went on ɞ

for days. She only released him when it was needed ɞ

and after a while he just willingly let her re-apply it    ɞ

no longer fighting them. He had finally accepted her ɞ

“love” and believed himself to even feel the same as ɞ

weeks and months ed. The light fading from his ɞ

eyes as she overtook his mind just as he had done   ɞ

to hers so many years ago. She never even needed   ɞ

to use the elixer on him in the end. One day she just ɞ

didn't bind him again. She now seemed to trust him ɞ

and much to her amusement, he didn't try to run. He ɞ

stayed right there with her. She had what she had     ɞ

wanted for so long now. He truly was perfect.           ɞ

𖧷 It was about a year later now. His arms holding

𖧷 He wanted to just be with her all the time. He

𖧷 “loved“ her as much as she loved him and so
