Stop Treating Yourself Like A Beginner When You Aren’t One

I’ll try to make this post short since I really don’t feel like typing :skull: plus my phone is acting up as usual 🤪 but anyways-

Why treat yourself like a beginner if you are not one?

So like I’ve noticed that many of you have a tendency to take a massive break from your shifting and respawning journey due to not having any success with it- and then once you do get back into your journey, you say you plan on “starting over”

Just to clarify, there is nothing wrong with taking breaks from shifting and respawning, or even ‘restarting’ your journey. The problem is that I’ve seen many of you who have known about shifting and respawning for a long time, like I’m talking YEARS, and you have so much information about it. And if that’s the case, then you really shouldn’t be calling yourself a beginner, because you’re not

You see, beginners and newcomers in the shifting (and respawning) community have little to no idea about what shifting is. They have to acknowledge that shifting is real, they have to learn the terminology, they ask questions about certain things such as what it’s like to shift, and they have to do lots of research about certain sub-topics such as perma-shifting.

Meanwhile you are out here calling yourself a beginner just because you are simply restarting your journey, and that’s the thing: you are NOT a beginner. You already know so much about shifting and respawning. You don’t have to necessarily ‘start over’, you already know the process. You already KNOW how to shift and/or respawn. Why overcomplicate things by restarting from the origin point?

TLDR

Just because you are putting a pause on your shifting/respawning journey does not mean that you have to start over. It’s absolutely fine to take a break, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that you have to restart your entire journey. You can still make progress even when you’re not actively shifting/respawning.
