We've all asked the question at least once.
Why does my rabbit thump?

WELL...
For starters, in the wild, rabbits thump to warn others of a possible threat or a warning to get away, as danger lurks in the area, like a vicious coyote or a very big, angry, and hungry feral cat.
HOWEVER...

It's more likely that your rabbit is saying "hey, jacket, I don't like you," or "hello, phone, go away now, you suck!" or possibly even "uhh.. yeah.. uh.. blanket, you're making me nervous."
For mine, well, he has a bit of an anger issue, so I suppose those messages above are meant for me.
Whatever the situation is, you probably want to stroke the little bunny and calm him down. Although they might keep doing it until you throw the sweater in your parents' room.. heh heh..

In some other news, what did you think about this post? I was thinking of doing short rabbit related things like this. Go ahead and give me !

Can they thump and do binkies at the same time though? Mine sometimes thumps in the middle of a binkying session. Or thump, then start binkying

Ohh ok then. How do you suppose I go about finding what he doesn't like?

Well, I think that you should just monitor his behavior and see what he seems to thump at and/or avoid. Rabbits can be very picky.
