Be careful with hay racks! Now in my personal opinion and experience, I do not like hay racks for several reasons. Not only can rabbits get their head and limbs stuck in the holes like the picture states, but it also makes it harder for rabbits to get hay and discourages them to eat it because of that. It is not a natural way for them to eat hay. So if you use a hay rack, just make sure it is completely safe and that your rabbit gets enough hay!
A better way to feed hay can be putting it in plastic cups, piling it on the floor, making hay bags or boxes, and many other safe alternatives! If you want examples of these, comment below.

I think you helped a lot of bunny owners with this post, great job! *^^*
Personally I've never used these products, they're just not works for my buns. Rabbits love to eat hay when they're "doing their personal stuff" so I just basically filling their toilet with half pellet half hay, on the two different sides. I also filled a large but not tall plastic box with hay, they loves to cuddle in it. When I'm not using their carrier, I like to put inside a clean tower and lots of hay, some toys etc. ot's actually pretty comfy inside of it, and also a great hay-eating pleace. :)
Thank you do much, I know hay racks can be very controversial sometimes.
Thank you for this! I wasn’t going to buy a hay rack because of saving money but now I know I really don’t need or want one. I didn’t know they could get stuck and like it better with out a hay rack.
