Also known as the Survey Corps or the Scouting Legion, the Scout Regiment is the regiment that the story mainly focuses on. Their job is to explore beyond the Walls and reclaim territory that was lost to the titans (even though they didn't participate in the liberation of the Trost District until it went into the cleanup phase). They are also unofficially tasked with researching titans. Due to the nature of their job, they have an extremely high fatality rate. This also results in personnel shortages (which also stem from overall lack of from both, the government and civilians), making them the smallest of the three, with only 300 soldiers. With little volunteers to rely on and an infamous reputation that scares off most cadets from ing, the Scout Regiment easily has the best quality soldiers of the three regiments. The discipline and fighting prowess of the Scouts are regarded easily as the best among the three regiments. It's easy to understand when considering that they face the most combat compared to the other regiments.

Now personally, I'd only this regiment if I made the top five (not even the top tens) or if I had titan-shifting abilities (only got thirteen years left in this case, got to make them count). Otherwise, I don't see myself in the Survey Corps. I'm sorry. It's not even that I'm against putting myself on the line like they are, it's just I'd rather be in a more defensive position. Still, I would respect the hell out of anyone ballsy enough to go take the fight to the titans themselves.

Also known as the Stationary Guards, the Garrison Regiment is responsible for all things Wall related, including but not limited to guarding, maintainance, and cleaning of cannons and the Walls. They are also in charge of civilian evacuation and supply work (refueling, ammunition, and/or other aiding jobs). They are the largest of the three regiments, thanks to the dramatically high fatality rate of the Scouts and the limited entry of the Military Police. The Garrison Regiment employ up to 30,000 soldiers, but ot should be noted that this is because the Cadet Corps is included in this number until their graduation and enlistment in the chosen regiment. The real number is at least 10,000 soldiers. Before the attack on Shiganshina District and the fall of Wall Maria, the quality of Garrison soldiers was only slightly better than the Military Police. They were lazy, undisciplined, and unreliable. Similarly to the Military Police, most soldiers were only ed to avoid working in the farms and fields, and enjoyed drinking on the job. Since then, the quality of the Stationary Guards have improved drastically as a fighting force. The Garrison has become a lot more innovative, strategic, and disciplined (they actually got their shit together). They showed how effective they were during the struggle for Trost District, where not a single civilian was killed during evacuation (unfortunately, the same could not be said for the hundreds of soldiers in the Garrison and Cadet Corps that fought to buy time for the evacuation). They also led the successful operation to retake Trost District afterwards, so they aren't to be underestimated just because they don't fight the titans as often as the Survey Corps does. Speaking of which, they have been shown to fight alongside the Scouts on multiple occasions, including the liberation of Trost District, the rescue and recovering Eren Jaeger from the Armored and Colossal Titan (the Military Police also participated in this mission), the coup d'état, and the defense of Orvud District.

Personally, this is the regiment I would have enlisted in. Having to fight the titans isn't an issue to me (why else did I the military if not to do just that?), I just would prefer to be in a more defensive role when doing it. I would much prefer to fight the titans when they breach the Walls or in certain special occasions. So unless I end up being a titan-shifter or make the top fives, I'm headed for the Garrison Regiment.

Also known as the Military Police Brigade, they are considered the most prestigious of the three regiments. With 2,000 and direct command over 3,000 additional personnel from the Garrison, they total to be 5,000 soldiers strong. Their forces are divided between the major Districts, with 200 officers assigned in each District. They act as the primary law enforcement within the human territories. Their primary tasks don't just include maintaining law and order, but they also serve as the King's guards. As part of their normal duty, they are in charge of tax collection and land distribution, a duty they usually exploit. Other duties include supervising the Cadet Corps, monitoring the Garrison Regiment, and directing fire-fighting operations. Only the top ten cadets are allowed to the Military Police Regiment, but due to the high corruption rate within the regiment, the are other ways to such as fraternization and favoritism. The Military Police was supposed to be the most elite of the regiments, made up of skilled soldiers due to it's rigorous standards, but the reality is due to their chronic lack of live titan combat experience and extreme corruption, they are the weakest, laziest, and least effective of the three regiments. The corruption within this regiment is not a secret at all among the citizens, as the Military Police are infamous for abusing the powers they are entrusted with. Despite their infamy, cadets still strive to enjoy the Military Police because of the three regiments, the Military Police have the highest authority, highest pay, and the best chance of obtaining a comfortable life within the interior (Wall Sina). Still, new recruits ing the MPs are in for a little rude awakening when they realize that their senior officers off all their work to them while they spend their time drinking and gambling (shit roles downhill, am I right?).

I don't see myself ever doing the MP Regiment, simply because I see it as a complete waste of training. , Cadet Corp training last for three whole years. Seems like a complete waste to make it into the top tens, only to the one regiment that you'll never see a titan in your life. Your skills dull quite a lot, plus having to deal with the bullshit of the hireups when you first start. For this reason, I'd just the Garrison Regiment. You also have a chance of being able to live within the interior as a Garrison soldier, you just got to be pretty exceptional (in which case, I could pat myself on the back and say with confidence that I earned to be spoiled).

And I think that will be all. Tell me which regiment you would want to and why? I gave you my reasons, now give me yours. Please leave a comment down below and have a nice day/night.

Well, if you ask me, I would prefer to get stepped then be torn in half. Assuming it's my entire upper body being crushed, it would probably instantaneous if my head gets crushed too.
