I am american but I don’t really care
We should go even further and phase out pennies entirety. Legalize people melting down pennies to profit from the metals they're made from and have every purchase rounded to the nearest 5 cents.
Not american, but coming from a more or less cashless country it sounds like a step in the right direction.
