The media and people in general from independents to Democrats hell even some Republicans said Trump is dangerous and bad for Democracy.
Multiple times for years people have been warned about Trump do you think Trump ers should be Partly to blame for the mess we are in.
They never listened even know I defended Trump a few times I go against him the majority of the time and I see him as authoritarian plus I didn't vote but I'll be affected by Trump like all Americans so should Trump ers be blamed a little.
I mean how many times do these people gotta be told he isn't a good guy lol how many times do we need to say danger to Democracy?

Corruption and bureaucracy plays a part in a dictatorship and authoritarianism people prefer Democracy because we can choose our leaders instead of staying with a single king or dictator but no system is free from corruption it plays a part in humanity as much as greed does
Some, but I would also highly blame both mainstream media and social media. Because of the society we live in, we get news fast, and oftentimes that means we don’t fact check it. And even though we have the internet on us 24/7 365, for some reason we are incapable of taking 10 minutes of our oh so precious time to make sure what we are reading is true
Oh I know, because humans typically don’t want to hear about things that destroy their world view
Republicans ( mostly just MAGA ) don’t want to hear about negative things Trump says/does and call anything that does so as ‘fake news’ so they don’t have to believe it
Democrats don’t want to hear about positive things Trump says/does and choose to believe 5 second videos that are grossly taken out of context ( ex. ‘Good people on both sides’ )
