Pokémon Ice Breaker

Hello everybody and welcome to my Ice Breaker post. I hope you enjoy the read. :blush:

1. Introduction

My name is Althom, I am 20 years old and I come from Slovenia. I have been a Pokémon fan since I was 6, so I played every main game title, traded Pokémon cards and watched a lot of the anime. But without further ado, let’s get to the more interesting stuff ...

2. Favourite Pokémon

My definite favourite pokémon is Leafeon :leaves:

It became my favourite when I played Pokémon Sun and it was an invaluable member of my team.

I also have to mention Rhydon. I don’t really know why, but this pokémon has been one of my favourites for a very long time. There is just something about this bulky rock/ground guy that captures my heart. :sweat_smile:

3. Favourite Type

Just as with favourite pokémon, I can’t settle with just one type to be my favourite.

Water type pokémon always had some special allure about them so I like them a lot.

My other favourite type is Ground. I find ground moves to be pretty cool with all the earthquakes, digging, etc.

4. Favourite Region and/or Generation

My favourite region has to be Sinnoh. I just love mountainous regions and snowy hills. In addition, Pokémon Platinum was my first Pokémon game so Sinnoh has a special place in my heart. And speaking of Pokémon Platinum ...

5. Favourite Main Game

Yes, Platinum is my favourite main game title. There are just so many great memories about this game. I choose Chimchar as my starter and I pretty much completed the whole game with just one pokémon. And I named my rival after my school friend who also played the game so I could always beat him hehe :sweat_smile:

6. Favourite Spin-Off Game

I never really played spin-off games, but I do playing Pokémon Pinball on my phone and having some great fun with it.

7. Favourite Character

After some thinking I realised that I don’t really have any favourite characters. But then I ed about the Old Guy from Cherrygrove City in Johto, who gives you running shoes. I guess he’s pretty funny and cool haha :joy:

8. Favourite Soundtrack

I have to say that I don’t really listen to Pokémon music that much, but there is one tune that comes across in my head quite a lot and that is the generic gen 1 “Battle Theme”.

9. Least Favourite Pokémon/Character

To be honest there aren’t any pokémon that I could really say I don’t like. But there is a character and it’s Elesa, electric gym trainer from gen 5. The only reason I don’t like her is because I had enormous problems with her Emolga when I played Pokémon Black.

10. My Pokémon Collection

I have three Pokémon books, some cards and of course games and my Gameboy Advance SP and New 3DS. I also have some minifigures but I couldn’t find them.

11. Confession

I really like the elemental monkies. I just don’t understand why people find them to be bad design or whatever. I think they are cool!

12. What Real-world Area Would You Like to See as a Potential Pokémon Region?

I would to play a Pokémon game set in Greece. I think it would be interesting to see Greek gods and history incorporated into the Pokémon theme.

13. Skills

I do believe that Pokémon helped with my knowledge of English.

14. Friends

I never really met anyone new because of Pokémon, though I do have many friends that played or still play Pokémon.

15. What Is Your Ideal Pokémon Master Team

Well, I am not very into competitive side of Pokémon, but if I had to create a team it would consist of the following pokémon:

Leafeon

Ryhdon

Muk

Camerupt

Luxray

Dustox
