Mankey at Work

I decided to submit my art for #MonsAtWork2025! I'm not very detailed at drawing scenery, but I'll try to describe it here. Mankey are aggressive creatures, so I figured they needed an outlet for all that violent energy. Why not try pounding rice into mochi?

They get to blow off some steam, and enjoy a pleasant treat in exchange for their labor! Perhaps a nice dessert at the end of a long day will help them relax.

Of course, I can easily imagine these Pokémon becoming extremely competitive and increasing their pace until a dispute erupts. Or arguing over sweet versus savory mochi flavors. Peace never lasts forever, but you might catch glimpses of it.
